"The boy is under parental supervision with an ankle monitor." Should be in jail. For some reason, public schools think that they are separate from the law and can handle their own affairs outside of the normal justice system.

What a disgraceful comment. I'm a high school teacher of 25 years, and I turn your kids into citizens, because a LOT of you do little for them. This guy is a likely one... I want strict discipline and high standards, and merit based on ... merit. Don't criticize those of us who care more than you about our youth. I quit a VERY lucrative job 30 years ago to make a difference in kids' lives, and I've been fantastically successful, based on objective data. This guy works at a Walmart and can't stop blaming his high school teachers for his inability to get to college.

Where was the campus security? Why do Texans expect educators to put up with this and get paid as little as they do?

Security? Even the actual police are too cowardly to do anything. I thought Texans were supposed to be tough… laughably incorrect

The parents created this monster. You don't put the kid who put an assistant principal in the hospital back with the parents. You keep him incarcerated.

It's unacceptable and completely disrespectful to keep people in the dark about anything happening in a school. The way this presents itself it shows itself as being a very corrupt school with many reasons to make transparency impossible. The people who live in this district and the whole country deserves answers. This is about our community and the future. It's our schools. Not acceptable.

@ArtOg-pt4jm I make perfect sense, and I can prove it. Kyle Rittenhouse was a minor. The Parkland School shooter was white and a minor. The media didn't hide their identities or race. There's countless black school shooters like 3 yrs ago in Arlington, a black kid shot 3 students and a teacher, and wasn't in jail 24 hours before he was released to his parents. There's a 2 tier justice system in Texas, and it's race based. I experienced it personally. Blacks get turned loose from jail with time served for violent crimes, while whites with lesser crimes only get a reduced bond and still have to come back to court for sentencing. Black female Democrat judges are openly racist.

Spare the rod, spoil the child. Most parents don't correct their own kids and teachers can't paddle anymore. This is what happens & it's sad. This poor teacher will be scarred for sure. Shame. 😢

I am sick to death of hearing people say that they are "praying" for someone or something. They might as well say that they are going golfing or doing a little dance in response to the situation. They are equally effective at solving a given problem.

    • @williefufu2985

I understand, if you don’t know the power of prayer, you would be moved to not just think a thought, but to actually leave a typed or text message about something that’s unfamiliar to you. Praying in the name of Jesus is a good thing. What is inside of you that makes you sick when you hear about Prayer? I’m guessing thst you are very unhappy and angry all of the time.
