You usually need kereznikov with it, because it improves your brains reaction time to the upper human limits. They have nothing to do with anti-grav devises. The average sandy that you would be accessible in lore would kinda suck, but still make you much faster than really any average person even with chrome. Not faster than a bullet, but fast enough to punch multiple people around you before anyone can react. In lore they don’t have gravity devises and they are just a minor speed boost, nowhere remotely close to their in game counterpart. Edit: I’m literally not wrong. Read the books and play the tabletop. Just think about it for a second, why tf would they have anti-grav devises? Literally how tf would that physically improve or aid someone with faster reflexes? Sandy makes you response time really fast, kereznikov makes you think really fast. Without sandy you’re just seeing things slowly but can’t move very fast, but without kereznikov you’re moving fast but you’re not seeing things slowly. With sandy your body does things when you tell it to faster than it does when you don’t have sandy, kereznikov makes your brain process and create thoughts extremely quickly. In lore there is literally no gravity device related to neither of them. I think you’re completely confusing David’s exosuit at the end of edgerunner’s with sandy. With the best of both implants you might have been able to dodge bullets. But definitely not like in the game. I also literally said sandy and Kerez were different. Learn to read.

tbf Adam Smasher in cannon has the Apogee sandy as well, so technically he should be able to keep up with us. They just nerfed the hell out of him so he wouldn't be unbelievably hard. Honestly, i kinda wish they made him soulslike hard and made losing to him an actual ending instead while winning against him should give the "secret" ending. He should basically be on or near the teir of "boss you are not actually expected to beat, but it is possible technically".
That would make the game's whole plot pretty inconclusive, albeit more realistic. I agree he should be much harder, losing should not count as an ending though@@oceanbytez847

Smasher is just a glorified ncpd robot to him. Besides, you gotta be compatable with cyberware you run, which even if Smasher is like 99% compatable, V i'd say 100%, cuz the relic will make sure of it. And that 1% is all you need to beat him. At least that's how i see it
David’s brain was already half melted and body torn apart. The Edgerunners gang was never meant to beat Smasher. The Relic is one of the few and only reasons V is so strong.
I'm down for this. All iconic cyberware should require quests or smth to obtain them, or hell even just something you obtain by finding it during a quest like Death and Taxes or you just find it in a really remote spot like Guts

Except this isn't the sandevistan. This is a guy roleplaying as a speedster and putting "sandevistan" on the title because that's what he's *technically* using, but with a time dilation mod so that they can set the slow mo to whatever they desire. Real-time speedster, not real time sandi.
In real life, a Sandy would be like watching one of those "Slow-Mo Guy" videos where they shoot things at 100 x slower speeds. It wouldn't mean your muscles and ligaments get to move 100 x faster. In lore you can see how silly the in universe concept is in those videos people post where they shoot at an enemy, out-walk their own bullet, and shoot at that same enemy from behind them so that they can hit them from two different directions. If you're moving that fast you don't need bullets at all to kinetically annihilate someone. Compressive heating from you walking should do the trick. Where you're getting that much energy who knows. Must be eating uranium capsules for lunch. Obligatory I know it's a game and fiction but who doesn't have fun with a bit of "Uh, achtually..." every now and then. 😂
None of the videos you see at those speeds are in the vanilla game, though. If you see anyone moving faster than their bullets, they're using a heavily modified sandy that slows time far more. the actual in game limit is 85% slower than real time.

You can see them and dodge them easier, but you cannot outrun them. I'd actually want to see a true "Sandevistan but in real time." Ok so all you need now is a few extra finisher and additional animation mods and you have yourself an infinite money glitch because I could personally watch this style of Cyberpunk gameplay forever. The real-time idea is unironically so slept on in video games.
It got to the point where I was considering taking off my sandy because it just felt so unfair to the people I was fighting, like what are they suppose to do when I can trigger that and just delete 6 guys? and then because of another piece of cyberwear I can just go straight into another and delete like 3-4 more guys, all while they can't even hit me.

I had a side-mission that happened underneath this lot in my Corpo play-through where a lot of screaming was happening and then a gun battle erupted. By the time I finished chatting and "dispatching" my former coworker, I climbed the stairwell to come up here and searched the area to try to figure out what was going on. I couldn't find anything aside from 3 dudes chilling next to a burned out car and a homeless person cowering in the corner screaming "cyberpsycho!" A mystery solved for me.
You know what would be cool? Having camera PoV replays of your gangmember beatdowns on the news on screens around night city. Specifically after the heist, as it would make sense you're a famous enough person to warrant the attention lol Something fairly simple enough to implement, would just take time. The effect would be awesome to watch on the TVs in the elevators though lmao

A more apt title would be "I'm a speedster, but real time" because you aren't using any of the actual in-game sandevistans. I mean, technically, you are, but not at their default, base stats. Pretty sure you'd get a more satisfying video if you'd just let the sandevistans be normal. All the damned videos on this garbage platform related to Sandevistans always have that damned time dilation mod installed, because you'd rather kill your enemies without a fight. Whimps.
