This is great playing! Anyone know what kind of banjos they are -- they look like pre-war Gibsons? They are obviously 19-fret tenors and I thought most Celtic players preferred the 17-fret banjos?
HI John is playing an OME Juniper 12" Pot 19 fret a new banjo not vintage I live in Ireland and most Banjo Players here play 19 fret there seems to be fallacy going around that we prefer 17 fret but I can assure you 19frets are by far the most popular
