HOWEVER, in ORAS, the site of Wally's final battle against the player in-story features a sick new theme and a beautiful new arena; a field of red spider lilies, a flower known in the language of flowers as a symbol of death and rebirth. However, it's also pretty famous for its pollen being devastating to the lungs, painfully destroying these important organs from the inside, and that risk is exacerbated among people with certain health problems. An asthmatic like Wally doing something as intense as a Pokémon battle in a full field of these beautiful, deadly blossoms could very easily be fatal.
Does S&M have a double meaning? C'mon, the people in Alola are hot. Olivia being the best example. Oh and the weird lines like Kukui/Masked Royal's "foursome" or Lillie's wet dress. There's also an NPC that "wants to show us something" which just looks weird.
Idk why people dislike Gen 5 starter designs. They look cool, especially Samurott. It is weird, and unusual sure, but the whole concept and idea behind it makes it cool. Also how can you hate a beast that has two shell blades?
For me personally, it was that I was so excited to see what Dewott would turn into and then Samurott was kind of disappointing. Would have looked way cooler if it stood on two legs like Dewott. But that doesn't mean I hate the design. It's simply not my favourite out of all starters.

@@nerdatello I love Gen5! Everyone kept harping on the designs and how "uncreative" they were but I just love so many of them. Litwick and its line are among my top 10 favourite mons of all time. Joltik IS my absolute favourite Pokemon out of all games.
Tepig was never my fav out if the Unova starters but anime at least made it cool. It's sad to learn Tepig line is one of the least liked starters (other being Chesnaught and Meganium). My favorite was Snivy for multiple reasons some obvious like the design etc. Recently i started to like the Oshawott line more. It's a Samurai otter that looks super cute! Dewott looks great meanwhile Samurott is underrated but it's understandable why (the quadrupedal final form) I have a strange tendency to just dislike the first forms of water types with Oshawott being the only exception.
I think that was a design choice, though. Like how Absol is misunderstood. Maybe Umbreon is the same? Idk, I feel like Absol is meant to be a joke about the dark type thing

Bottom Right: This is just telling us that Ursaluna's going to happen. If my theory about the moon/moth image is right, good of Riddler to hint at that Guide-Dang-It-Ass Evo method in the same breath he told us about Ursaluna itself-without the Internet and dataminers, Ursaluna's evo mothod would have been the subject of MANY an Urban Legend of Zelda, for Damn sure.
28:56 going by the pictures in this I'm guessing that the ghost girl was supposed to be Hisuian Typhlosion, the heart shaped clouds were Enamorous, the buff girl was Hisuian Decidueye (her head is shaped like rowlet's body and H-Decidueye was a fighting type), the bear was Ursaluna, the ice aircraft carrier was Hisuian Avalugg, I can't tell what the others were supposed to be though.

It is more relaxing with relaxing bgm such as at 16:41 and more jokes that make me laughed. Honestly Creepy Black is one of the better video game creepypastas I've heard. It didn't have to resort to a bunch of unbelievable supernatural stuff happening to the actual player and there wasn't junk like hyper realsitic blood in it. The whole thing could actually work as a rom hack.

Great video! I would like to point out that the dude who distributed the bad word Gengar was not the guy in the Team Rocket costume from what I heard. I watched a video on the topic of it at least half a year ago and it talked about how he actually had to defend himself due to people actually thinking it was him. Also at the same time, there was another unrelated mystery gift distributed by other people that had nothing dangerous about it. I think it was an Eevee? I have a theory that Staryu and Starmie were partly inspired by Starro, the DC Comics villain. Both of them are star-shaped entities with psychic powers and with red/pink luminescent centers that happen to be their weak points. Could also be that stars generally in media are associated with space and magic or psychic powers, which is something you see almost everywhere.... but it's fun to imagine there's a link between Pokemon and DC. Also speaking of comics... another possible easter egg involves Typhlosion. The Pokemon is capable of learning the move "Crush Claw" through breeding. It's not particularly useful for it, since Typhlosion has mediocre Attack and doesn't get STAB from it. But when you consider its species, the wolverine or honeybadger, it might dawn on you that there's a 0.0000000001% chance that whoever coded that move into Typhlosion's movepool at least briefly thought of Wolverine from X-Men. I can't think of any other reason Typhlosion, a Pokemon without visible claws, would have access to that move. Again, not particularly plausible, but fun to think about.

Jessie from Team Rocket's mom. The pokemon leaks revealing and hinting at a TON of stuff. That many still don't talk about. Gorochu was revealed to evolve at lvl 40 just by leveling up by looking in the data of the leaks. The "Mew Truck" was found in a beta map in a totally different looking town! There's so much in the beta code of Red/Green that showed just how much things changed. Badges where useable items at one point. Even in the anime from kanto there was shown and drawn other badges for gyms than the usual 8. Even the level dragonite used to evolve at wasn't 55! This would maybe help explain Lance's lvl40 dragonites in G/S? I believe the old level to get dragonite was 40 or something closer to it. I can't remember for sure. Erika had slightly longer hair early on. And her outfit hinted at she MIGHT have been a ghost type gym leader at one point! Maybe a lavender town connection? I found all this info just researching on twitter alone. Believe me there's still so much out there that doesn't get talked about enough. "Red" used to look a lot older in the beta too. The beta rocket grunt girl sprite, etc etc. I think she was from the G/S spaceworld beta. Heck Giovanni and Misty being placed in the E4 for that same beta. Makes a bit of sense because of Koga being there in the final.

Great video! I would like to point out that the dude who distributed the bad word Gengar was not the guy in the Team Rocket costume from what I heard. I watched a video on the topic of it at least half a year ago and it talked about how he actually had to defend himself due to people actually thinking it was him. Also at the same time, there was another unrelated mystery gift distributed by other people that had nothing dangerous about it. I think it was an Eevee? Regardless that dude wasnt the guy who distributed the pokemon, and i dont blame you for missing that detail, as it's a VERY random topic. I'm gonna go watch watch another 1 of your videos now.

I have a theory that Staryu and Starmie were partly inspired by Starro, the DC Comics villain. Both of them are star-shaped entities with psychic powers and with red/pink luminescent centers that happen to be their weak points. Could also be that stars generally in media are associated with space and magic or psychic powers, which is something you see almost everywhere.... but it's fun to imagine there's a link between Pokemon and DC.
Also speaking of comics... another possible easter egg involves Typhlosion. The Pokemon is capable of learning the move "Crush Claw" through breeding. It's not particularly useful for it, since Typhlosion has mediocre Attack and doesn't get STAB from it. But when you consider its species, the wolverine or honeybadger, it might dawn on you that there's a 0.0000000001% chance that whoever coded that move into Typhlosion's movepool at least briefly thought of Wolverine from X-Men. I can't think of any other reason Typhlosion, a Pokemon without visible claws, would have access to that move. Again, not particularly plausible, but fun to think about.
OH MY GOD! I'm 31, was about 9 when Pokemon blew up in the UK, and I remember having that TCG program on my computer. I played the shit out of that game. Thanks for reminding me and bringing a flood of memories back.

The pokemon leaks revealing and hinting at a TON of stuff. That many still don't talk about. Gorochu was revealed to evolve at lvl 40 just by leveling up by looking in the data of the leaks. The "Mew Truck" was found in a beta map in a totally different looking town! There's so much in the beta code of Red/Green that showed just how much things changed. Badges where useable items at one point. Even in the anime from kanto there was shown and drawn other badges for gyms than the usual 8. Even the level dragonite used to evolve at wasn't 55! This would maybe help explain Lance's lvl40 dragonites in G/S? I believe the old level to get dragonite was 40 or something closer to it. I can't remember for sure.
Erika had slightly longer hair early on. And her outfit hinted at she MIGHT have been a ghost type gym leader at one point! Maybe a lavender town connection? I found all this info just researching on twitter alone. Believe me there's still so much out there that doesn't get talked about enough. "Red" used to look a lot older in the beta too. The beta rocket grunt girl sprite, etc etc. I think she was from the G/S spaceworld beta. Heck Giovanni and Misty being placed in the E4 for that same beta. Makes a bit of sense because of Koga being there in the final.

In regards to the Nessa art controversy, this wasn't the first or last time artists that were using pastels and color theory got the ire of Twitter. Before it was a piece featuring Marina from Splatoon in a tropical piece and afterwards it was the Encanto cast on a dark background with a Hispanic pattern. In all three cases, people got angry over artistic license.
