The bricks look really, really good! I can't wait to see the Begonias and impatients bloom and fill in that space! I will be doing the same plants in my backyard garden bed. ❤
Very nice! Oh to have a good grip to do the drip line!!!! I will have to continue to manually water but that's OK. I get to meditate that way haha. Cheers
As someone who ran drip irrigation for the first time in 2023, I was intimated too. However, that being said, it’s super easy once u get into it. Then it’s just a matter of watching ur plants and seeing if they need more or less water. I found that using the adjustable dial type emitters works best for me here in Tx where it is super hot. Our water is extremely hard, and the brown 1/4” drip tubing with the emitters already in place don’t work well in my landscape. They do work in my vegetable garden better, but I did have to replace several lengths of it this yr when I planted my garden out bc it had clogged up, and wasn’t working anymore. I replaced several runs of it in March, 2024, and the veggie garden was up and running. I did initially run it in my landscaping n 2023, but have gradually (thru out 2023 and 2024) replaced the 1/4” brown tubing with individual emitters run to the base of each plant, and my landscaping is MUCH happier. Don’t be intimidated bc it really is much easier than u think! ❤️
I need to rework my drip in my front bed as well. It's gotten hot and humid here so it's not a fun job. I had 2 labs and a stray kitty showed up. I started feeding her because she was so skinny. And she was pregnant. She had her babies and I moved her and them in the spare bedroom. Once they were 8 weeks old I gave them away except 1 Iand I kept her of course. They got along with the dogs no issues. I was able to get her fixed after the babies were old enough to give away. She's still a primarily outdoor kitty but she's getting better about coming inside with us. Jenah wanted you to be her person!! I'm glad you found the babies. 😊
I've been watching your channel for a long time. Love how you refresh things in the garden. I've been wanting to ask, not sure if you've said it in previous videos. What is the material you us to hold you boarder stones in place? Since you reuse them, I'm assuming it's not a mortar mix. Thank you!!
Wow! There is so much to comment on here! A gardener after my own heart! I feel like we were on the same path this entire video! I cut my emmitter ( the first time I'm installing them). Ran out of supplies, except Lowe's seemed to be out of everything I needed). Reconfigured the drip in my gardens multiple times! Lol! The only thing I didn't see was your timers. Last season, I started using Orbit b-hyve wifi timers. I'm hooked! What timers do you use? 😍
@KreatyveGardenista If you go with Orbit b-hyve wifi timers, know that they are lil funky to get set up. But once you get them going you'll enjoy them. Ex. They're tied into the local weather, so they will go into automatic rain delay if there's rain in the forecast. I can also bypass this feature at any time. Ex. Hanging baskets under a canopy that doesn't get rain water. Thanks for responding!
Link to my drip irrigation tutorial video is in the description box😉

Rosie just completes this !!! 😉
It's really coming together!💚💚❣️

I wish our store was organized when it comes to getting irrigation tools.

Where did you get the Gaint Calla Lillie?

Hey there! I use orbit timers as well but may be switching to something I can control via my phone once I get my bibs fixed😉💚
