"It can just sit out here and have an attitude adjustment and think about its life!" 😂🤣 Ya! Doesn't that ivy know how many plants would love to live with Laura in the Hartley?♡
Another fun video😊 Today my husband and I are buying 12 acres of farmland adjacent to our 5.5 acres that we live on! I’m excited and nervous 😆 I can’t believe we’ve been able to do it! Now I REALLY wish I had an army of gardeners to help me turn it all into something beautiful 😆
Laura, you have NO IDEA how wonderful it is that you show regularly that cleaning up is an actual part of the entire job..or its not a done job!...Thankyou.
Laura, can I just say, “I love you so much”? You crack me up with your responses and whatnot. I love starting my morning with God and then this channel. You are so honest in your reactions that it is endearing. ❤
My mom talks to her plants too, "You better shape up or over the cliff you go! " ( she lives on a bluff) I used to help her in the.garden, and have continued to love gardening my whole life. Now my 3 sons garden as well.
I literally just sat here and watched you do all of that and I feel SO accomplished 😂 Your videos make my mornings extra sweet. Thank you, Garden Answer.
Love this episode. Especially when you show the good the bad and the ugly. So refreshing. You’re the greatest. Love all you personalities. Love your kids your family your cats. Love your dwellings and property. 80 year old fan from Illinois. 🥰👍🙏🏻
I ALWAYS find one or more Christmas items I forget and the tubs are put away...lol. I knew you'd take the tree down once you started deep cleaning...lol. A fresh, clean start to the new year. Sure is a good feeling.
🌱Weird, but I love seeing you tackle those plants and clean up that space. I wish and hope you dedicate a video to refinish that antique table. It is so beautiful and worthy of a do over. And, when finished, top it with either fiberglass or glass to protect it from the dirt & water stains. Thanks for your dedication to this channel.🌱
Laura, I am more of an outdoor, in-ground, gardener like you. However, here in Missouri, that is not possible all year round, so I, too, turn to houseplants for my planting fix. I found this video very inspiring. I love all the new houseplants. My only problem is that I want some of what you have but don't have room for them, so I have to enjoy them in your space. I love cleaning and organizing, so for me that is always enjoyable to watch. Thank you for this video. PS...I am glad that you went ahead and removed the tree because as pretty as it was I too am ready to move on to the next season. Kim
You and Aaron are so blessed! And such well deserving folks. I wish ALL of your family continued joy and beauty in your lives always!!! Btw, is it too soon for a shopping trip? Love love those!
I loved watching Laura putter around in her Hartley. I have a 12x12 greenhouse that I over winter all my beautiful cultured geraniums and many other plants and I love to putter around mine too. This fall I was finally able to hook it up to electricity. We're going through a brutal cold snap here in Kansas so I was really glad to be able to have my 2 electric heaters going in it. A couple nights ago I was getting ready for bed but I wanted to see the temperature in it and when I looked the temperature read 19*! I'm devastated that I lost everything in it. I've only spent a brief amount of time in it because I'm so sick about it.
When taking down the tree decor, I was thinking 'if that were me, I would miss an ornament, no matter how I scrutinise the tree to see if I missed any!' ... mad respect for when you thought you hadn't missed a single one, and then... plot twist 😅 beautiful reclaiming of the Hartley ❤
these videos are so very satisfying!! i love Christmas and all it's decorating and filling the house with all sorts of pretty things, but those weeks after when everything is back to its 'normal chaos' are just so refreshing... anticipating spring and sun and fun outside... everything in the Hartley looks fabulous except the ivy which is currently rethinking its life 😜😜 trash heap or living in the Hartley? what's it gonna be??? 🤔 and Russell the opportunist hoping he wasn't seen!! 😹😹😹😹 that was a job but wow! looks great! i'm sure the family enjoyed "eating out" in the Hartley, too... i do need your energy tho... lol... 🥰❤thanks for the video!! 🥰❤
It was wondering spending a few minutes in the sunshine with you this morning! Such a wonderful space, especially in the middle of winter. Brings me joy just watching. Have a wonderful day!
The Hartley is really the dream. So beautiful and useful. I love the way you keep everything so tidy and clean. You inspire me to do better with my space. I love Clorox cleanup, it is my go to cleaner. You are so right, it makes everything smell fresh and clean. I still have my Blue and White tree up in the dining room. The last Christmas bit to be put away. You often make me giggle. The one ornament left out. I too find bits of Christmas left out. So annoying and funny. Sometimes I find a place for it and reunite it the next year or It goes in a box with other misplaced items until needed. What do you do with old broken clay pots? I try to recycle them. It doesn't always work. Take care.
I think she should make the broken pot into a fairy garden or put succulents in it, could be a fun project 😊although maybe the broken pot thing isn’t her style?
Your energy is contagious! I’m looking at my poor plants now and assuring them that I will give them an overhaul. Thanks for the reminder! I love the smell of Clorox, also.❤
Hey Laura!! from Oklahoma! Hey Bethany! Lol, I know you're reading thru the comments right now. In one of the recent videos, did I her that you have 11 children!? WOW, women certainly are productive up north! Has there been any threat of the fires reaching Oregon? I remember last year the areas very close to you were buring down. I tend to worry that one day your channel will go cold due to the natural disasters happening all over the country. We have this massive uncommon cold front about to move over us and I fear I may lose my daily visits with you and your family & team. I've been watching faithfully since you've moved to the "big house" . When I see so many of our fellow neighboring states being nearly wiped out, I always think, "what if we were ever to lose garden answer?" I don't think I could settle for any substitute. I've watched you guys grow and grow and grow. Enough to see Aaron go from a humble young fortune seeker to the snob he is today, lol. I feel like you're my own family now. I pray all is well with yun Yankees. Thank you for blessing us with your daily lives. I'd be tickled to see what an evening after hours is like; playing board games with the kids, have cocktails in the living room with your sister & brother-in-law, or whoopin' it up at a staff meeting with Paul & Bethany before she heads home to her dozen children, lol... xoxo xoxo
My ex boss used to keep the tree up and decorate it for every holiday that was upcoming.. You can decorate it for Valentines day.. OFC she would take the tree and suspend it upside down.. it was so beautiful .. she even decorated her home for every National Holiday .. she always went all out ..
Great start to your year Laura! Clean and orderly can really give you peace. ❤ But surely there is more attractive music to watch by…. It doesn’t go with the beautiful building or your sweet voice.
I'm not sure if it was that specific Ivy topiary or a similar one that you purchased on an outing with your mom. If I remember correctly, you made a comment along the lines of, "Isn't it sad that I look at this beautiful plant, and all I can think about is spider mites?" Something like that! 😂 I truly appreciate your ability to keep things light and add humor; your energy is incredibly motivating. I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday! Much love and God bless you and your family always, Susie J 💖
Hi Laura, its always so satisfying to do a clean out! I wondered if you will be moving the cactus arrangement back into the spot where the christmas tree was? I think it looked great there 😊
I love all the things in the Hartley! I had no idea you could completely defoliate an ivy like that to save it! I have never seen spider mites here, but we do have other pests. Now im going to have to take after my growlight shelfs as well and get ready for seed starting. Thanks for what you do and the tips and encouragement to just try something.
So fun to watch new plants additions , cleaning & organizing Hartley so well .I really adore Laura enthusiastically ❤!!! Question:How to treat rust on a newly growth sansevieria leave ? Thanks 😊
I do the same thing with my tree every year. I've started taking the ornaments down but leaving the boxes next to the tree for 24-48 hours. I always manage to find the last ornament in that time.
Good morning! I don’t know how you do all this and are not exhausted. So many plants to take care of and keep healthy. I don’t have one single houseplant and I’m okay with that but when you do this kind of project I want to run out and get some. Maybe I will…
"It can just sit out here and have an attitude adjustment and think about its life!" 😂🤣 Ya! Doesn't that ivy know how many plants would love to live with Laura in the Hartley?♡
Sometimes a wonder if Laura comes up with her lines spontaneously or is it done in advance😅 very entertaining ❤
Cracked me right up too 😂😂
@@DinaLinardosdefinitely ad lib! She doesn’t even like to plan a garden let alone a script lol
Ive found that some plants need a little "attitude adjustment". A little roughing up, to come back again stronger than ever! Good luck!!!
❤
Laura, the birdbath filled with succulents that you planted up, is nothing short of PERFECTION!!
Absolutely gorgeous!! ❤

Not enjoying the process at all😆can’t wait to get it done 😜but thanks for the encouragement 😊
@@angelaengler2387 ohh my gosh 😞 you're welcome 🤗
Oh, how wonderful! Well, you're sure in the right place here. Laura can give you ALOT of info and ideas!!! Congratulations!
Congratulations! Give yourself grace Rome wasn’t built in a day. It will be beautiful in time. Enjoy each day.
Laura, you have NO IDEA how wonderful it is that you show regularly that cleaning up is an actual part of the entire job..or its not a done job!...Thankyou.
Is it weird to love watching someone else clean? satisfied feeling, kind of getting me in the mood…maybe.😮
Only Laura could put a plant on a time out!! LOVE IT!!
Laura, can I just say, “I love you so much”? You crack me up with your responses and whatnot. I love starting my morning with God and then this channel. You are so honest in your reactions that it is endearing. ❤
zorimer I do the same thing. Start my morning with God, then Laura! Have a blessed day!
Living vicariously through Garden Answer 💚 such a beautiful space!
I was thinking the same thing 😄
Dinner in the Hartley in the winter sounds glorious!
Very satisfying watching you clean, repot and prune. The Hartley is a beautiful space and the plants are beautiful. Have a blessed day everyone.
I think it's fair to say most people would have tossed that Ivy plant! Love how Laura tries to save it! 🥰
Keeping it real Laura ,that’s why I love Garden Answer. 👍

"Cooties" 😀 I haven't heard that word in a while. Made me smile.
I would LOVE to have a greenhouse space like yours to piddle with house plants all winter!! The Hartley looks fabulous!

Just love clean up videos as they give me a push to go and do some clean up myself. And ever we're in your beautiful Hartley is just looking so good

My favorite place The Hartley! I live vicariously through your videos.
I love watching you clean and organize-gets me motivated!
I always enjoy a good cleaning video too, Laura. Everything is looking fresh and beautiful in the Hartley.
The Hartley is such a stunning garden piece!! I remember when you first started talking about getting her💚💚
It's so therapeutic to me to pot up new plants! Especially in the winter! I love watching these videos!

Hello Laura! Love your videos! They transport me away from all the crazy going on in our country and allow me to enjoy something I love. 💕 Thank you!

I love the bleach smell, too! My daughter does not. 😅
Everything looks great! Good catch with the spider mites. 🤞🙏
I use broken clay pot pieces in bottom of other pots to help prevent compacted soil. :)
Everything is beautiful 😊❤️
a blessed evening to all!!!!
Very beautiful area. You do a great job taking care of your plants ❤
Soooo Satisfing to watch! And yes I always find at least one ornament after undecorating the tree.

Yep I think I'm good just watching Laura work in the Hartley and visiting her plants now and then😊
I’m really cheering on this ivy
I enjoyed watching this video. It really gets me up and going to clean and declutter.
Love Hoyas. So much fun when they bloom!
You inspired me. Got new plant shelves and set up in the southeast window of my kitchen.
Laura, you got so much done today. I enjoyed watching you work…lol. The Hartley is looking beautiful ❤️
So satisfying when everything is groomed up. Great clean up.💯💯💯🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Love the new plants you have gotten. I absolutely love your videos.
Cracked me up when you said the ivy topiary needed an attitude adjustment and to think about its life! Still laughing!! 😂🤣😂💖👍👌💖
I was just looking for a new video. So happy to find it! ❤
I just absolutely love that wooden table that you have plants on!!! A perfect day to do what you're doing!!! Enjoy!!!

"sit out here & have a lil attitude adjustment" lololol. I do the same 'talking to' my plants..😁

LOVE… the cleaning part! 😁 It’s so satisfying! It’s what I do to relax. 🥰
Love the chairs you’ve added to the Hartley. Ready for a book and coffee!

I luv those mundane tasks cleaning up indoor plants...makes me think of spring during our cold weather/winter here in NW MI.
I am like you, I love to watch cleaning videos! I think getting somes pillars is a great idea. Love your videos.

So inspiring to go get some new houseplants! But we are 1 degree Fahrenheit so I better wait. Thanks for the motivation! 😍

Good morning. You have a busy morning ahead of you. You're inspiring. ❤

I luv a good garden anything cleanup !
Afternoon Everyone 🥰
I never can bring ivys indoors for long, because they always get spider mites - mine stay out all winter in zone 6, except when short stints.
Great video ❤
I gave up on Ivy as a houseplant years ago. They ALWAYS get spider mites. There’s not a mite around until you have an ivy 😆
Oh no, now you made me want to clean up my plants!! 😂. Thanks for the little push!
sprucing up day and planting great video. looks good Laura. i put all my decorations away and of course i always miss at least 1
Oh you make me want to get out in my greenhouse and clean up stuff lol. Everything looks great
Hello I noticed the cute 2 pot holder next to the cactus set has spider webs 😂
What a motivating video, thanks for sharing 😃
Appreciate your honesty when it comes to plants it's not doing so well and bugs and how you fix it do you ever do a Valentine's Christmas tree 💓💞💕💟
o fun now it looks so sparkling clean nice
