Can't wait to watch you plant this garden up in the Spring. It's going to be gorgeous! 😊 Also thank you for giving me some great ideas i can use to make my garden look better 😀
Hi Michelle 👋 I love your choices. That will be stunning 😍 Thank you for sharing so many great tips and ideas. Creating curves in pathway with plants is such an awesome idea! Always inspiring, always learning. Thank you Jen 😊
Great ideas! I would not have thought of planting in front of the brick wall but I really like that. Thank you for taking the time to put the plant specs on the videos. I capture them with screenshots that I can use when planning and going to the garden center. As always, thanks for your content ❤️
I absolutely love this design! Incorporating many of the ideas in my memory garden. Thank you for sharing your plan in such detail as that makes it easier to not just duplicate but to tweak it to my own gardens. Blessings!
Love your designs for your garden I would be so nervous planting the red bud close to the house but I love it also can't wait for spring to come to play in the dirt😂
Beautiful design, and very inspiring. I love the colours and textures you chose. I think it will look absolutely amazing. (She says dreamily as she ponders going to snowblow after a storm😅).
Thank you for sharing your design. Yes it makes me very excited even though I’m in zone 10 in central Florida. It’s still not the right time to plant, but I am looking forward to that time again. You do make me very excited to begin.
Love seeing how you put this together. I am so anxious to get back to work in the garden. I am going to create a new bed this year. Right now we are going to have record breaking cold temps soon and that makes me so nervous about what will survive the winter. I really enjoyed seeing how you designed this new bed.
Stunning Michelle! When we were all taught to colour inside the lines it’s no wonder adding plants to the pathway would likely never cross our minds lol. I cannot wait for the install video ❤. Would bergenia’s be a good addition for a part sun bed? I especially love the vibrant pink ones
Nope, I knew what your window well covering was, lol. I LOVE the Blue Chip Juniper and the little Blue Globe Spruce! I have Baby Joe on order and I’m really wanting a lungwort. Yes, I’m inspired! I’m excited! I can’t wait till you plant this up! Ok, my friend, getting out the paper and pen and starting on my new shade garden! I either have most of my product or it is on order!
My north facing bed up against my house gets morning sun but pretty much full shade from noon or 1 pm on. I have to plant things there that do well in shade, like hydrangeas and Japanese maples. I have a wonderful Rising Sun red bud, but put it in full sun since that’s what I saw was recommended. It’s great if your north facing bed gets enough sun for buddleias, etc!
Love your designs ❤❤❤ I look forward to watching your videos and learning from you. Oh by the way I bought the same trellis that you got… Thank you for all your inspirations 🌸
So many great plants. Love your selections. I like to rely on ur suggestions for inspiration in my own yard here in SE Michigan. If things work for you in WI, I know they'll work for me in Zone 6a.
Just lovely! So much good info. Question: I would personally feel like the redbud would be too large of a tree to plant so close to the house, but I LOVE it. Do you have any advice or guidelines you go by? Thanks so much!!! Love your channel
What a great video. So encouraging for me to get planning for this coming growing year. Question….do you find lungwort requires plenty of water? I planted three of them in a nice partial shade area. During the hotter days they completely wilt down until I either deep soak them or I’m lucky enough that rain has taken care of them. I value you opinion. Thank you for sharing all your valuable information and talent. Oh dear, I forgot to say I live in the Grand Haven, Michigan area and planting zone 5b.
Yes I have had that issue as well when they get a lot more sun than they like. I had them in the back and they wilted daily, they were getting like 4 hours of afternoon sun, I actually gave them to my daughter when I dug them up. The area they will be going in will have more shade and under a tree with more protection from the sun so I am hopeful I am NOT running out there daily and watering.
Love you design idea! How do you get your lungwort to survive?? Mine get anialated from slugs+ I love lungwort but I cannot keep up with the slug problem. Any ideas?
Kinda.....there was a slope from the house to the cottage garden and I knew there was going to be a path I would walk on and did not want the slant...thus the wall to build up the sloped area. Plus I wanted an area to build up with better soil than the hard clay.
Beautiful Michele! Can't wait to see it in real life.
Love, love, love the Red Bud... :)

Yes they will. The further south you go the more protection they need from hot afternoon sun.
This design is absolutely gorgeous! Can’t wait to see it installed. I have to find a place for some of that deutzia!
I'm excited to plant it up too!
Awesome, I love what you do! ❤

It has to fit. I guess that is my guideline.
Love love love it!! What program do u use for the designs? I’m such a visual person 🙈it’s so hard to plan my garden spaces 😅but this would be amazing
It is a professional software program. I used it when I was a Landscape Designer. It is pretty expensive..like $1500

Love your design! Where do we find your Sedona bowls? Is that a brand or a type of planter?
No. It is just a low bowl.
Love, love, love! Can't wait to see what it looks like in a few years!!
Love you design idea! How do you get your lungwort to survive?? Mine get anialated from slugs+ I love lungwort but I cannot keep up with the slug problem. Any ideas?
I bait with Bonide Bug and Slug
I have 4 butterfly bushes and the deer don't bother them at all. I'm in town and have lots of deer
Love it.
What is a window well?
It is recessed area dug out around a basement window.
Just curious, is the 12 inch high wall for erosion control or something else?
Kinda.....there was a slope from the house to the cottage garden and I knew there was going to be a path I would walk on and did not want the slant...thus the wall to build up the sloped area. Plus I wanted an area to build up with better soil than the hard clay.
Have you ever thought of painting your house? Not to be rude but it would update it.
sure think about it all the time..it's brick
