Gosh I just love that spruce!! I wish I had the space and conditions for it. I get nervous with spruce trees in 8b Southern climate. With it being hardy to -40 degrees, does that mean the colder the winter the better or will it be ok in a mild winter?
Am I the only that noticed Blue Spruce is shaped like a female with wind whipping her dreads or braids; it especially struck me when you were showing us the side shot determining the placement and your twists hair style was in the frame.😂❤

That’s one of my favorite trees. I love spruces and that’s one of the few that can handle the heat and humidity in zones 7/8.
I love them too but I've also lost my fair share of spruces due to user error. I know better now! 😉💙

All conifers prefer cooler climates so in a warmer zone it will require a lot more water 😉
