No Pressure is a band I discovered in the midst of the pandemic, sitting in my Uptown Chicago apartment August 2020. A band that breathed new life into what we call pop-punk, skate-punk, whatever you want to call it. In a time where we all needed even the tiniest shred of hope, I'd always hung on to the hope of getting to see this band live, and little did I know I'd get to only a year and a half later. No Pressure is a band that embodies exactly what the punk scene needs (and always has). Let me explain why ;D
Glad to finally have this babdoi done and ready to share with you all! This video has seriously been in the works since March; I've had a couple health-related things to address since then, which is why I've been outta commission for a hot minute. SO glad to be through with that shit and back in action :)

No pressure is honestly the thing I was missing in this era of pop punk. Fast riffs, shouty lyrics and parker cannon going at it again. Can't wait to see them maybe even twice this summer

no pressure is a perfect pop punk band with just enough hardcore elements to get new kids into the HC scene…they’re exactly what both scenes needed.

I feel like you missed the most important part: this band did it by buzz and word of mouth. They're not out there blasting their shit all over social media, building a following that way. it was all done by fans of the band. It's kind of refreshing.

I'm a huge Blink 182 fan and No Pressure managed to recreate similar sound yet still so refreshing. No Pressure is like when Blink 182 and TSSF had a baby.

I love No Pressure, they have that sound that I adore, I can't stop recommending this band to everyone. As a fan of both TSSF and No Pressure, I wouldn't be mad if Parker prioritizes No Pressure over TSSF with a new album :D

Saw them on the 21st, Parker had the mic for maybe half the show. He's all about making the crowd part of the show and I think he needed that.

It's exactly what I needed. When pop punk evolved at its best in the early 2010s I had the feeling it was going too soft recently. No pressure brought it back to the roots making fast, simple, loud, raw and fun music. It's a winning formula. It's just so easy getting addicted.
Also, it was easy for them to stand out these days when pop punk music is almost a copy of mgk. These guys don't give a shit to sell, they want to play for fun.

I love their sound because it feels like they put in a lot of effort to make it sound like they're not trying at all.

Hey I was there when they played in Manila! That is by far the best gig/show I went to (Second is when TSSf went here 2019).
Surely a highlight of my 2023 tops bar to none!
No pressures headlining tour this year was one of the most insane shows ive ever gotten the pleasure to go to. I have never seen a crouch go so crazy. Literally just people throwing themselves off the stage like at a jump park. Literally in the middle of the crowd just people bobbing my head over and over

This is the exact sound I’ve been looking for. I’ve tried to find other bands to describe the kind of music I’d like to make and this is it. Straight up perfect mix of posi and punk. Easycore elements without all the synths and stuff. Splendid

No Pressure had an amazing welcome in South America, this bands doesn't even have an IG page and their concerts last december in south amarica were absolutely nuts, crazy how everyone in the scene knew all the songs

Saw No Pressure at the Bottom Lounge in Chi the other night and it was one of the craziest shows I’ve been to, so glad to see this video!
They're my favorite band right now. Seen them twice, and both times they delivered an insane show. They have a perfect formula

Saw NP in the middle of a blizzard in NYC at the beginning of 2022. One of the greatest shows I’ve ever been to and hope to see them again, the crowd participation was nothing like I had ever experienced
I need to hear more of this band. Everything I've heard, I liked and the story so far is one of my favorite bands. TSSF have a flawless discography thus far and I have no doubt that no pressure is no different.

I think what made No Pressure so big so fast is that they're a side project from The Story So Far.
The Story So Far are great, and I first heard about them in 2014, when they already had 2 albums out.
Either way, No Pressure is great and I'm loving their music - also Mark Hoppus from Blink-182 gave them a small shout out when chat asked what are his current favorite punk bands.

No Pressure is insanely refreshing, fell in love with TSSF in 2017 and when NP surfaced I fell in love with them just as much. Got to see one of their early shows in a small bar in Richmond VA throw some bows and meet Parker without going absolute fanboy and just explained my gratitude to him for making some great music that got me through stuff I never imagined getting out of. Can’t wait to see them again

When I was in high school I scored through my dads old cds and found Blinks old Cheshire Cat, Dude Ranch and Enema of the state. It’s all I listened to and helped me with all the teenage angst. This band is like that period of my life with Parker Cannon as the singer and it’s fucking incredible. So refreshing
I really like your take on this and I am starting to like the the band too. Because it’s fast, raw straightforward and not too pop. But I’m honestly amazed on the impact of it. I mean it’s not like they are doing something new, it’s just punk rock with a bit of pop and a bit of hardcore. It’s great but it’s nothing we have not already seen.
Have you heard No trigger? Shook ones? Rust belt Lights? Even old Title Fight come to mind. I
To sum it up, I’m really happy they keep it fast and honest and I love that the kids are into it. But it’s nothing groundbreaking.

No Pressure and Stand Atlantic are easily the two best pop punk bands of this decade so far. And honestly it's not even close. They're revitalizing the genre.
And in my opinion, even though no pressure is newer… they’re better. (There’s a place in my heart for their kind of double time skate punk)

There really is something special about being in a sold out punk show packed to the brim, cant even take a step because of the sea of people, but you can feel the good vibes from everyone around there's ZERO hostility, despite being very fast paced and energetic. I feel bad for the younger kids that didn't really get a chance to experience warped tour, it was a very accessible way to get exposed to so many bands. That and myspace music. The era of Man O / Major League, and the beginning of getting the international bands to tour in America like Neck Deep / Boston Manor / Trophy Eyes. This is the best the scene has felt since those times in my opinion!

Saw Blink/NFG/Jimmy at the Gorge in 2001 when I was 13. No pressure brings me back to that day and that era. I’m 35 and the last three years of punk and hardcore has lit a fire, respect to Gen Z for keeping it real.
I saw them live in Jan '23 and a couple months ago. They are amazing live, the mosh is intense and sweaty! (Which i love)

I completely agree. This is the first pop punk band I’ve liked since like Dillinger four. Not overly saccharine and raw sounding.
If you ever want to hear overly saccharine done perfectly though, check out state champs. State champs and the story so far on a tour together would be so perfect. Champs would be the sweet to TSSFs sour. The honey and the vinegar.

no pressure refubished my love of pop punk, I was into blink 182 , nfg, & mxpx growing up. Then in the 00's & 10's pop punk got washed out with the whole "scene" phase. I couldn't listed to any of those bands without cringing. No pressure really brings pop punk back to that orginall skate punk & hardcore roots. Love this band so much

No Pressure it's second best thing that ever happened to me with after my previous gf, even though it didn't last long ended up being cheated but then No Pressure came from nowhere saved my life at last. Thank you Parker, and I'm forever grateful for NP

Growing up listening to blink and sum41 back in the early 2000s no pressure hands down have the best punk sound I’ve heard since those old bands
I love no pressure, gives me the old tssf vibes I miss. Makes me miss the 2010s when pop punk took a hardcore edge (easycore was going big), and melodic hardcore was popping off.
