Being as avid reader I have read both physical books and e books. I love physical books in general. The things I personally dislike in kindle is 1. The screen size. The 6 inch screen size is way small for me. I read very fast. So in order to fit much content in one page in kindle I have to make the font size smaller but then reading becomes harder. 2. The flip page. I don't know the feature was made to replicate the feeling of physical book. But I have come to dislike it very much. In place of this I would like the continuous scroll.
E ink displays in general can't have continuous scroll due to ghosting. The flashing is not emulating physical books. It's simply refreshing the display to show the next page. That is unfortunately a limitation of e ink displays.

Can someone tell me what is the real life battery life of kindle basic???? My kindle battery drain so much fast , if i use kindle with full brightness with airplane mode on , battery brain is about 1% in 1.5 minute. Is it good?
Yes you can. That’s what I do with mine (10th generation paper white) you can go to this website called ‘pdfdrive’ and send the books in PDF format directly to your kindle.
Your calculations are down right wrong. First of all why is the cost of kindle 12k? Simply because you bought a paperwhite? The basic Kindle now has back light and perfectly good for reading. It costs 6800 in sale. With Amazon card I get another 5 percent off which comes to around 6500. Any selective book you read is easily 500 bucks these days. Go into slightly advanced books and prices sky rocket. Then there are other legal sites which provide ebooks for one time dirt cheap subscription. Long story short, you inflated the price of a Kindle because you wanted a fancy paper white with internet when most people can make a hotspot from their phone and use that. The price of Kindle is 6.5k when bought on sale. Price of 12 books is 6000 and most people who call themselves readers read more than one book a month. In short the Kindle starts to pay for itself in the very first year. Usually after 5 to 6 months of usage. Your math on this is down right wrong because you couldn't resist the fancy paper white edition. You could have bought oasis and said Kindle is not worth it. Bottom like is oasis and paperwhite is for folks like you who get tempted. But the basic Kindle as a device is fully worth the price you pay for it.
TechWiser is one of the few trustworthy tech sources I always go to. Please tell us how to send books downloaded from the web to kindle from android device ? Thank you.
You will get a kindle id when you register your kindle with amazon. Convert any ebook to kindle friendly format like .mobi and then open your mail. Attach the .mobi file to an empty mail and send it to your kindle id. Open your kindle. Turn on wifi or hotspot. The book will show itself there. Download and read. P.s -- Turn off the wifi or hotspot or turn on the flight mode. It helps in saving battery :)
When you Audible is not available for Kindle in India Does it mean that it is technically not available on the Kindle models in India or is it because the Service is not available
In the U.S, Amazon sells a version of Kindle that can play audiobook from audible. That's not the case in india. Although this could change in future, as audible is now officially available in India.

Getting the Paperwhite Kindle because of the ERGOnomic design feeling better.
(Can you all tell what I've done here?)
You write something up on a computer, spell check tells you it's wrong and you ignore spell check's correction suggestion and still publish?

What about the basic Kindle version? 8k now shows on Amazon?
But the basic Kindle as a device is fully worth the price you pay for it.
harry potter and the philosopher's stone in the background is catching my attention more than the review
I have kindle :) I love it, but I prefer physical books
