Nice project, I have an old brake drum and some scrap plates just need to find some tube or square stock and I will build one. Found your channel from Mike Festiva. Now that you have the CNC table next time you need to make a circle with holes you can just cut one :)
Thanks for subscribing! I'm still learning how to fab, but I have fun with it and try to put out some videos that might be helpful. I'll do some fab videos, motorcycle stuff or just out hiking etc.
I wanted the flexibility to easily make changes in the future if I decide and not have to powder coat the drum again. You could weld it, I just wanted to bolt it.
They are very sturdy and haven't had an issue with one falling over. My stand with vise, has a brake drum from a semi truck. It's super heavy. I went by a trucking company and they gave me an old drum for free. They make great stands.
Thanks. I smashed my foot between a boulder and the foot peg on my motorcycle. I broke 3 toes and ripped off the big toenail. All with some heavy motocross boots on. I'm glad I had them or it would have been much worse.

Ohh, damn. Sorry to hear. Hope you recover 100% and soon. When I was young I fell off a scaffold but it let me go bowhunting all one fall.
Great job 👍
Thanks 👍

Any advantage to bolting vs just welding everything together?

Did you make your welding table? Is there a video or plan for it?
It's a kit from weld tables.
pilot holes make drilling large holes easier.
Nice build. What happened to your leg?
Thanks. I smashed my foot between a boulder and the foot peg on my motorcycle. I broke 3 toes and ripped off the big toenail. All with some heavy motocross boots on. I'm glad I had them or it would have been much worse.
What happened to your hind leg, Bucko?
