I think you need a big steel work table with a couple vises for angle grinding in your grinding room. You also need some kind of ventilation/extraction. Thanks for sharing, Tim!! Love these vids!! Best regards from the deep forests of Norway.

Love the train rail stand! I've got a bit of rail on my shop just collecting dust. Plus I've got an unending supply of pieces from a guy who works in the rail yard. Knives coming up!

That stand looks so good, and the rust level is perfect, and yes, you need to make matching stands for EVERYTHING!!! 👌👌👌 Your work shop looks like it's destined to become one of the coolest places to work in this solar system. I find myself wishing that I was your neighbour 🤣🤣🤣

Very nice. Keep the theme going. I am not a big fan of the rust finish in general but this is your shop and you get to make it exactly the way you want it. Ha ha, I would powdercoat it to match the rest of my shop. That is my ridiculous obsession.

If you do make the interior walls, you can always use the inside face of those for more storage for belts and things. I like the rustic look, but the flash rusting looks a little bright. Maybe you could darken it a bit to look a bit older with a little bit of oil. It might help protect it from the bad rust, too

I was really shocked to see that first reveal of the rust on the top plate. Oh, and yes, it would look super cool to have all the stands in the "grinding room" to be the same style... but you should give each tool it's own unique stands, but all in the same style (eg, three holes/ one hole/ tons of little holes)

Railroad rail is classified by its weight. So if that's 115/119 lbs rail every 3 feet is 115/119 pounds. That way we do the math when lifting with pettibone/crane when replacing rail or panels (rail connected to ties)
