The most stunning thing I've heard and seen in a very long time. Expert craftsman in complete harmony with a beatiful instrument. An absolute pleasure, Thank you.
Thank you, Mr. Greenfield, for having made such a fantastick guitar, manipulating the soundboard and other elements to make such a bewitchingly mandolinesque twilight sound.
There is something magic about a beautiful instrument and an excellent player....Although this is not my favourite style of music, it did in fact "knock me off my chair". Kudos to both the maker and the player. RC
IIRC the guitar is the same scale length as if it it were a normal 25.5" guitar capoed at the 4th fret ... so the scale length on this G5 is 20 1/4", near as makes no difference.
Finally the truth is out. I've always suspected Tony was a giant.

it looks like a parlour guitar, maybe even a tad smaller.. Beautiful clear sound..
its a baroque guitar actually. these were the immediate ancestor to the modern classical guitar!
amazing playing ..."The laird of Drumblair" is my favourite of all your tunes ...except for "Hector the Hero" and the "Easy Club Reel" ...
I would love to have the score to this song. Any ideas where might find it?

Welldone Tony! Please what's the tuning for this song on size5?

does anyone know if this is standard tuning or something else?
Tony usually plays in DADGAD. He even has a video on here where he introduces you to DADGAD tuning!
