Cantonese should adopt Vietnamese writing. Both Cantonese and Vietnamese were originally Yue people which means many words in both languages sound the same and has same meanings. For example the word 南 as in 越南 are pronounced as NAM and 越 means Cantonese and Vietnamese are the same people.
Present Vietnamese uses France pronunciation system as spelling writing, it makes the language approaching to be a foreign language. When Vietnamese adopt the spelling form, many word or word group(phrase) cannot be distinguished due to homophone structure, this is the disadvantage.
