@@ShockwaveEditz01 BotCon Apelinq, the Transmetal Primal repaint in red, green, and silver. Yeah it was a straight repaint and not a retooled look like this but I really fuck with the color scheme and I think it’s a banger as far as repaint characters go. I dislike ROTB’s decision to make all the Maximals predominantly one color each to begin with, but I think Apelinq especially suffered because all silver is the most boring option for a live action movie design imo
Can you imagine if Hasbro and Yolopark teamed up together? A screen accurate model kit that can also transform into a screen accurate alt mode would be just prime
the big thing is that it's very hard to get model kits to have a good working transformation. for example, Bandai who is arguably the furthest ahead in model kit tech has only recently made a fully transforming kit that doesn't make you want to pull your hair out.
This guy looks so sick. Do these kits feel as light as say, gundam model kits? I'm thinking about getting TLK Prime ever since they announced him... and would appreciate something more sturdy than gunpla LOL
Just got this guy. Love the paint, the design. But quality issue is horrible. My shoulder canon broke and my toe broke and have to be glued back. All the panels keep falling off every single time i pose…

Absolutely the fuck not worth 60. I got Bee, Prime and Primal for maybe 25 bucks more than this guy. Yolo sees that's these are popular and inflated the prices now while lowering the quality
You say that as if hasbro hasn't made figures for characters with less screentime or no screentime.....oh wait...they have and odds are, you probably bought one in your lifetime
@@Kaiju-bm4ts I know they did. And I know I did. Hell, I haven't seen 1 ep of bw neo and stil bought legacy magmatron because his design is outrageous. In a good way.
Transforming isn't the selling point of these model kits, they're meant to capture one of the two modes as accurately as possible. You can't get that if the robot mode is inevitably compromised by the gimmick of transforming the figure itself.
@@Kaiju-bm4ts That's really obvious, I build a ton of gunpla so no need to talk down about what this is meant to do. All I am saying is if a transformers doesn't transform I am not going to be interested no matter how "premium" it looks or feels. @@zacharyowenmartin8247 And if you build model kits then what was the point of you stating the obvious that this was a non transforming figure?. Transforming is a gimmick, not a necessity for a piece of merchandise to have. You wouldn't have this level of detail or accuracy if this was a normal transforming figure given the less simplistic design itself and 60 bucks really isn't much...I've seen kits that are priced up higher than this. 60 if anything is the same price as some transforming figures themselves and is pretty cheap. Not as cheap as a 30 dollar kit sure, but still cheap.

Poor Apelinq bruh. Still, he gets a baller asf design.
I prefer his original design and colors but the new one is cool
He just got his left shoulder fuckin obliterated.

Parts fall off, toyguy - "he's preproduction"
Scourge - "he got in my way, I ended him"
Parts fall off is a feature
I didn't think I'd be this hyped for a character who barely existed for more than two minutes
Apelinq had such a quick death it was crazy. Still enjoyed the reveal of him though, his design reminds me of a Wrestler so..Pretty nice.

Bro I also can't wait for the age of extinction optimus prime fr
Yoloparks upcoming knight prime and mirage are going to be there best figures by far, I can't wait
0:07 why does he look depressed?lol
Paper plane made this figure cost 60 dollars
My boi needs more color, he's blending in with the movie Genericons
Might order him. He looks fire though that's for sure
