First we had Zoodiac. Then we had Magical Musketeers, as the new Zoodiac. Now we have a new 1-card-XYZ archetype that works like Magical Musketeers. We have gone full circle.
I personally ran this with dogmatikas because ties works with Ecclesia, and just went a little heavier on traps, I like this variant tho because it's more proactive
I found the most success while playtesting is to play like tellars and focus on a trap heavy build. 12-15 monsters and 15-20 traps xD. They do need a wolfbark type card tho.
I've been trying it with Onomats, 1 Onomat monster + Onomatopaira/Pickup can give you an end board of Utopic Draco Future and a Sister to use with Amento during your opponent's turn, but it can get shut down pretty easily by Hand Traps :(
I wonder if they’ll print the monster in their artwork as a Kaiju style monster card that forces your opponent to summon from their GY or something, kinda like a silent wobby.
Their XYZ are so damn good, they have the potential to be a "mini engine" with Michaelis being generic and searching the trap to go against GY focused decks, maybe pure needs a loooooooot of help but definitely I wouldn't sleep with those XYZ.
If i played them as an engine, I would probably play two copies of the spell searcher and the negate. The spell searcher can at least get you the quick play spell to guarantee some form of disruption
Ties is bad you can't realistically go 2nd with that card as they don't do anything and it's not necessarily that strong going first I also think the Arms Sage and ascend sage engine is good cause Utopic sage can help you get the trap + UFD turn one. 3 Blue 1 Red 1 rota. it also combos with itself allowing you to XYZ summon without commiting to normal Ultimately your opponent HAS to interact with their mechanic to play the game. I don't think they need a card that forces your opponent to do that, the deck just needs a more proactive turn 1 play besides search trap and pass. more consistency would be nice since the deck has no 1 card starters unless you count the trap
They need a card like world legacy mind meld/dark world brainwashing where it can change an opponents acivated effect to... so they can force the opponent to interact with their graveyard.
Do mean a generic card like wonder xyz, or their trap, because if you mean the former, they do not have a trap like that. The quick play spell allows you to xyz summon on your opponent's turn, and he is playing two copies, while their trap summons 2 of their monsters, which may not always guarantee an xyz summon if your opponent does not do much with the graveyard.
Big problem with this archetype is that it's so passive, but also that many of the effects are just really lacklustre. Additionally, the stats are terrible; the fact that your setup could be fully denied by an Asura Priest is kind of embarrassing. You'd really expect this kind of deck to have a card that says 'when your opponent activates a card or effect: That effect becomes "shuffle 1 monster from your GY into the Deck."' or something like that.
This is certainly an interesting way to play the deck. My take on it, however, is that their stats are too low to play like this without putting some form of protection on the board. Consequently, I'm focusing on searching the trap like you, but I also make use of Utopia package that uses Utopia Double to cheat out Utopia Dragner, which has battle protection and which can cheat out Number 38 for a spell negate and a potential second piece of battle protection. If you open Ascend Sage, you can also end on a Photon Strike Bounzer as a monster negate. This combo's board can still lose to Nibiru, but it also can search the trap before the fifth summon, so it doesn't lose *too* heavily to Nibiru.
that and they're just too blinded by the fact the deck punishes most decks now-a-days for using the gy, but forget that only happens when the opponent interacts with the gy, making them too dependent on opponent to work. Hence, it's a very overhyped deck.
@@zzZDarKCroWZzz well, the previous translations made the deck not as crap.... I mean, it still wasn't much to write home about but at least it was SOMETHING
HOOOOOLLLY CRAP THE NEW CARD FOR THIS ARCHETYPE IS SOO INSANE HOLLLY MOLLLYYY. Its a quickplay spell searcher for the whole archetype and if you added a monster it can special summon it from the hand, so its a searcher of all the cards u need and it can also be disruption in your opponents turn, that is ridiculous.
In one duel your opponent activated 2 gammas in the same chain. I think that’s not allowed, same reason why you can’t sea archiver and gazelle in the same chain.
Gamma isn’t once per turn like those cards you are better off comparing gamma to zoodiac whip tail you can use it’s effect multiple times on the same chain you just can’t chain it to itself
You can activate 2 different Gamma and Gamma should be written as Once per Chain honestly to avoid the confusion if u can activate a single Gamma multiple time or not
Be nice if they had an effect to protect the level 4s from battle, because not much is stopping your opponent from just running them over with their pitiful stats. Maybe the last card is a field spell.
I dont think there are much ways of playing this deck Alone, i think its more efficient as a counter engine, something that IS meant to Fill the Gap of graveyard decks that cant handle much interruption. Something like paleo and eldlich that not only can use the graveyard on their own, making the graveyard a threat worth targeting, but Benefit of a normal summon that Will punish the other player by trying to interrupt
People are too blinded by the decks ability to punish gy heavy decks, and forget that it can only work if the opponent interacts with the gy, and combined with the main deck monsters really low atk, it's easy to play around. Granted, this flaw could become a huge strength if they get a card (They still have a card left in this set that isn't revealed) in the future, but for now, it's a hug flaw and it's a very overhyped deck.
Some decks don't even get touched by this deck at all I dealt with infernoid with lair he just tribute my shit so what was gonna xyz a tributes monster
Punk was so boring, like a less interesting version of prankids that’s also way way harder to use I think the sisters might be salvageable if they get a strong field spell that resembles necrovalley tho.

the continuous spell should stop nibiru in hand since it says negate activated effects, and the effects on the field, of cards with that name
