Man, your channel is one of the most underrated in RUclips. Whenever I have a hard day, I just come here and see your videos. Greetings from a fellow Berliner. :)
Wow. I didn’t expect how beautiful Saxony is. Since I live in Poland 🇵🇱 it’s just around the corner and you just put it on my summer bucket list. Show us more these eastern Germany 🇩🇪 hidden gems. I love it. Best wishes.
If you are interested in outdoor activities and have paddled before, I can recommend the Dahme-Spree-Rundtour (also often named Märkische Umfahrt). This is a 180km paddeling round trip between the Spreewald and Berlin. There are many resting places for water hikers and rowing and canoeing clubs along the route. So you can spend the nights relatively comfortable and have an active holiday (6-10 days) for not that much money. There are several boat rental companies on the route. Coming from Poland I would recommend Beeskow as a starting point (train station and boat rental close together). It is in Brandenburg and not in Saxony, but also very close to the polish border.
Yes! Love this place! I have photos of it hanging on my walls! Greetings from California. Please share more adventures videos in Eastern Germany. 💓🤸🏽♀️
Whoever said Germans lack a sense of humor never saw this channel. Keep making us smile with more videos. May I suggest one show casing the different foods in the various German regions (sorry if you did one already; I haven't checked all your videos to see if you did). Different sausages, different cheeses, etc. You could probably do an entire video just on different beers. Danke.
Sächsische Schweiz was always a wonderful tongue twister for my international visitors and colleagues, while I was living in Dresden (which is only half an hour away). We went hiking almost every other weekend. It is a really great place! Now I am in Berlin, which is not bad either 😉). Nice video!
I loved every minute. I was laughing so hard. I’m still laughing and it’s five minutes after I’ve watched the video. Beautiful scenery. We live in Potsdam so it’s not far from us. You both looked so happy. You both needed the trip to Switzerland😂.
I love the east-central part of Germany. Looks just like parts of the appalician foothills here in the US. Shout out to my friends in Gera and Leipzig.
@@RadicalLiving Yeah, many times. I'm half Czech actually, from my mother side. We used to go to the Bohemian Schweiz (I guess that's the official name) all the time in the 80s

Some advice for visiting "Die Basteibrücke in Rathen" . Don't go there in the summer time. And if so go very early for sunrise or very late for sunset. Most beautiful are these places during wintertime, when all tourists are gone. Enjoy!
my mother from toba lake. when i visit it, the local said germany is the most generous tourist. they even paid you to plant a tree and pay you again in the next visit when they see the tree growing good

I wouldn't call it uderrated, there are a lot of people already. But it's beautifull, and nearly every one goes to the same stei. I spent 2 days in the the labyrinth, twice. That's one of my favorite place. Greetings from swiss Switzerland.

Really regret not being able to explore the Bastei. We had such a limited time for the area, and for whatever reason we thought Festung Königstein would he a better option to check out. Granted, it is cool that they built a fort right into a mountain with sheer cliff sides.... but I think the Bastei and surrounding park would have been the better option between the 2.
Well, actually a half of "Schweiz" is in Czechia and it's even more interesting. There is a bridge connecting two rocks as well, unfortunatelly this one is natural and nobody was supposed to pay for it.
