Personally I just can’t get over the fact that Dhalsim just says “yoga” for like 90% of his voice lines, like I get he’s the yoga guy but when he grabs you and punches you in the face while saying “yoga, yoga, YOGA” it feels a bit dumb like he’s a pokemon or something
Dhalsim is such as delight to see as a Gold Scrub like myself. In my hands is slow as hell, but when you see ppl that know Dhalsim, my dude is going into gear 5. He seems so fast, teleporting everywhere.
From what i watched on stream, this was one of the characters that took a min to get in the groove. Damn nice to see where that groove took you. Some sick example matches in this one. Good stuff ahain sajam
In my personal opinion, “good” is too subjective to say, aside from ‘Plat+’ is good. Because once you hit Plat2, you’re effectively in the top 30-some odd percent of players in general. That being said, you are not a ‘diamond’ rank player. You at the time are a ‘diamond rank dhalsim’ being played by a master player who plays most if not all characters. As such, you know strengths and weaknesses of most of the roster at a Diamond+ level generally speaking. When knowing the game inside-out is your job, of course you’ll make some players look bad.

He's cheap man, not going to call him brain dead as thats reductive but goddamn it doesnt feel good to finally get on his ass for him to just teleport away only to then teleport on you and run legitimate offense, help

I be doing fine, watching a sajam Dhalsim video then boom. 3 DIs in 4 seconds and the video ends

how come whenever I play my character is bad, but when I watch other people play their character is good?
How come whenever I do a combo it drops but whenever I watch a streamer do the same combo it connects?
For me at least the answer is that I'm a worthless piece of shit

I struggle so much in the Dhalsim matchup, especially when they start teleporting into me. What’s a good way to punish him for teleporting?
Light punch is great at stuffing his tp, if he’s very high up you can also walk forward or backwards

what character do you play? learn a combo that punishes his teleport heavily, then he will regret spamming teleport

They made him so much easier to play in this game and he's still super hard for me lol
Are there any good punishes from Teleport if you opponent does something unsafe, but leaves you out of position?
