We recently bought this same model. We tow it with a 2017 GMC Acadia with 3.6 liter and it does well. We’ve camped one time and have a couple more trips coming up. A couple comments. 1. She talks of refrigerator makes a small amount to noise. I would say no noise at all and will be drowned out by noise from Air Condition, we call it white noise. Otherwise it’s a spacious fridge and kept our ice cream rock hard. 2. The sinks are a bit small but not a deal breaker for us. Electrical outlet under dinette should be over table when in table position. When table is down outlet is right at cushion surface and unusable. 3. Outside storage doors are held open by some clip screwed to trailer. Magnet would be more user friendly. Storage door latches can only be operated with key. A pain if you want to leave them unlocked they are just flopping partially closed. 4. Cubby hole behind wardrobe closet at head of bed is big enough for my cpap machine. Also USB plugs only on left side. How hard would it be to run one on right as well as at dinette and behind kitchen sink. 5. Storage under bed is big enough for me to fit in and I’m pretty big. 6. Fantastic fan should be standard. Bath fan they do put in is ineffective. 7. Lastly we are quite pleased with gray colors inside and out. A welcome change from browns of other units. 8. Bathroom is quite spacious as well. No slide, but we’re not missing it either. 9. Usually just the wife and I but may occasionally have 2 grandkids, have plans to make a improvised bunk bed where dinette is that can be removed when no kids. 10. Forgot to mention that lights over bed are very bright shining down and doubt you could use them as reading lights as stated in video. Could I guess if you were propped upright in bed. They should have put in stalk type amiable light with dimmer. For that matter all interior LED’s should be dimmable. Would be nice if awning LED strip was dimmable as well.

Love the look of these NEW Retro trailers! The black and white checkered floor would have given my epileptic friend seizures, so NOW I’m looking to buy one of these! So happy that they pre-wired it for solar too! 👍😎

Wow PJ , great trailer. I just wish the sink was a little bigger. If I had the money and a place to park them , I’d get 5 of them .

Always love your comprehensive, methodical presentations with good camera work too. In future, would you please consider showing and mentioning threshold height and width of entrance door. Some of us are mobility challenged and this information helps when considering a rig that is handicap-friendly. We are experienced RV-ers, but now one of us has limitations. We want to buy a new lightweight, compact rig that is more nimble than our big fiver. We plan on using a portable ramp and are looking for a floorplan easily modifiable for better accessibility. Aisle width is important, as is the ability to open up a bath for better access. Removing one side of a dinette can help too. I know this is possible, but I hope more manufacturers go the extra little effort to use wider doors wherever possible; that would be a good start for many of us, and surely not cost much more to build for a few selected models.

    A bit confused. You referred to it as a 179, but also a 193, then a 195 & maybe a 173 as well.
So which one is it actually?

Hello is there an exhaust fan in the bathroom? I do like compressor frigs, but is that an option? I would prefer no oven, but do you get the nice grill on top if you dont opt for the oven? Thanks and Cheers?

@@PrincessCraft I should have asked how long this model is from the tip of the thong to the rear bumper. I have about 21 feet of space to park a trailer while parked at my residence. I am considering this RV as temporary quarters while I work on my cabin build in the New Mexico mountains. Then this RV would serve as a little cozy guest house or travel trailer when ever I want to go somewhere.
