    Hello, its a nice small starting out newlyweds camper but imho lacks 2 windows, be they openable or not, one in the front center by the table and one in the back over the bed. I do and have liked the retro stylings from riverside...winnebago did it a few years ago on their class a motorhomes that initially didn't go over too well, but now just a few short years later if you can find one of those used, they are like gold...the sellers asks a golden price and buyers fork over the gold to have one. It would depend on size, but that bench by the commode, since it's not for storage, could possibly be a good place to put a portable washer. The right brand will get clothes almost totally dry in the spin cycle, so you could hang them to dry from the shower rod, with the fan running and have them dry fairly quickly.
    You'd just have to make sure it would fit and the commode could still be comfortably used since space is a little tight there.
    Thanks for another great review. I really enjoy your frankness and style.

Actually ample storage for a weekend getaway. We're fulltime park residents and loving it but this little trailer would be perfect on the side for quickie trips exploring all the great Texas state/federal parks. Always in "road mode" with this one! SWEET trailer!

  • @wendy_says_so
    @wendy_says_so Год назад +1

    Cute as a button, but it doesn't beat the small RV's that put the bathroom to the rear and the queen to the front, where you can watch the TV either in the dinette or on the bed AND the storage between the axle and hitch. Having the bed and the through-storage in the back encourages those who overpack to put a lot of that packed weight a good distance *behind* the axle, which is a terrible, terrible idea, especially when you're essentially encouraging the use of a tow vehicle with a 5000lb limit - which includes a great number of small wheelbase suv's.

    On the whole, it’s not bad….
    It’s missing a closet, but since I’ll be flying solo I’d put up a very long hanger rod over the bed but under that shelf.
    That cover over the wheel well in the bathroom, you could go to Walmart or even Office Depot and get a bookcase and some bins and a bunch of bungee cords for linens and other bathroom stuff.
    I find that the dinette isn’t a good idea, since the bathroom intrudes on the window side of the dinette…. It looks a little claustrophobic back there.
    I think a couch would be a better idea along with another bookcase and mount the tv on a swivel arm and use tv trays to dine off of…..
    I’m glad you toured this model and also the 135 so we can all see the differences.

    These retro units are super cute. And I'm impressed by the amount of storage. Not a fan of either of the two color choices, though. But I do question my own ability to get in and out of the bed since it's such a narrow access point. I'm not very bendy. LOL

  • @pennylynch4471
    @pennylynch4471 Год назад +1

    They are very cute. I wish the inside was more retro, but it would probably cost more than I'd want to spend on a trailer that size. It seems dark. I think if the wood work was about chair rail and down, and the upper part of the walls just painted white, the interior would be brighter and look larger. Get rid of the "cave" look.
    Dinette outlet. Either above or below has advantages. Above it would be more convenient, but under would make the cords easier to deal with.
    I'm disappointed it has an oven, I would rather see a convection microwave under the stove top, and all storage above. There is not enough storage as is is.
    I've thought about this several times when looking at the smaller trailers. Like this one, you end up with a tiny bathroom. The shower looks like just turning would be an issue. So why not make the whole thing a wet bath? It would be a good sized one. I do prefer a regular surround rather than What ever the boards that you have to squeegee.
    Road mode off the road, travel mode on the road. Or start singing 'This is it'.
    Burnt sienna lol

Was a bit shocked on another channels offering of this trailer or it was the other retro trailer, the Vintage Cruiser. I think it may have been Matt's Reviews and the interior was Beachballl blue NOT mint to match the exterior. Quality control issues I would imagine. Not a look that worked lol!

    I hate the retro color and floor. That is why the Intrepid and Xplorer look good to me. Nicer looking

      Real talk: It aint fancy or the best in that regard by any means. It's also far less expensive though the one shouldn't necessarily relate to the other
      Often of course.. they do

      No sides means it's always in road mode. Looks like a 1970's time traveling rv. Love the pine wood decor. Respectfully W.S

    I've seen these at a local dealer ( whose a bit of a dick, so he won't be seeing any of my money ), and I liked all of it, except the lack of a window on the front. How can you have a dinette, where all you can see is a giant wall that wraps up over your head?

    I like the retro look, but I really hate that it actually says "Retro" on the sides. It screams Johnny come lately, jumping on the band wagon, trying too hard.
