CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Shot and left for dead, Hollis (Martin Henderson) has words with the last surviving Tremor brother, Darwin (Chris Pine).
FILM DESCRIPTION:
When a shifty magician turns state's evidence against a Las Vegas underworld heavy, the high price placed on his head sparks a fevered race to rub the snitch out and collect a tidy paycheck in Narc director Joe Carnahan's dark action comedy. Buddy "Aces" Israel (Jeremy Piven) is a small-time scammer who has somehow managed to get the goods on big-time mobster Primo Sparazza. Upon discovering that Buddy is about to deliver the evidence needed to get him thrown in jail for life, Primo takes out a sizable contract on Buddy that entices every two-bit thug, grizzled bounty hunter, deadly vixen, skilled assassin, and ladder-climbing Mafioso within a hundred-mile radius into taking a shot at the prize. Now holed up in his luxurious Lake Tahoe hideout with only two FBI agents (Ryan Reynolds and Ray Liotta) standing between him from a virtual army of money-hungry rogues, Buddy is about to find out just how far this motley crew of killers is willing to go in order to take him out and hit the jackpot. Ben Affleck, Jason Bateman, Andy Garcia, Alicia Keys, and Martin Henderson co-star in a bullet-strewn, ensemble crime comedy that never stops to reload.

"Is that who you was here for? Is-ray-el?"
😂😂
Since first watching this movie, I've always referred to Is-Ray-El as Is-Ray-El.
I love the part right before this scene where he's crying and waving his FBI badge to get past the agents.
Didn't realize Chris Pine was in this movie. Love his characer-acting. great comedic timing.
didnt even reconigze him
How can y'all not recognize him? He's not even disguised!
Just found out 2020 lol..
@@mikebryant7087 Same. My mind is blown from not realizing it sooner 0.0
Me too
This movie strikes such a great balance between genuinely good writing and off the wall ridiculous shit, and sticks the landing with a great ending pulled off by an actor that wasn’t known for drama at the time. Definitely underrated.
In contrast to bullet train, where we’re over saturated with dialogue and meaningless exposition
@@mat7083lol the first 20 minutes of this movie is boring diologue and meaningless exposition.
Man movie were you all watching? The ending was awful. Only thing carrying this was the performances.
This is to me the most outstanding acting performance of Chris Pine!
Iz dat hoo uz wuz after? Iz-Ray-El?
Chris Pine might be one of the few actors under 50 left in Hollywood.
He definitely killed this scene. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
I forgot it was him until I rewatched some Tremor Brothers scenes.
"Holy SH*T! I completely forgot that's Chris Pine!"
Wait, that's Chris Pine? I didn't even recognize him until I read your comment 😮
Lmao, It always gets me when he says "Is that who you were here for, is ray el?
Great Acting,Great Directing!!
Haha we all love that part best.
Haha! Iz-ray-el!
"Ohhh... you're FBI?" That gets me every time.
Something about when he says _"Oh you're FBI?"_ and slowly raising his gun as he says it always makes my crack up.
💜 rains hell and mayhem then says “peace bro” fckry so satisfying this movie. Love the cast, writing and team
I know the movie already has some outlandish shooting, but that scene was awesome in the fact that half these people couldn't hit a target within 5 ft of each other, but Martin Hendersons character does a blind shot of 15+ yrds. Meaning he was a badass the whole time, but didnt get to shine cause the Tremors got the jump on em. Totally awesome hah took me several times watching this movie to realize it. He would have done some real damage.
Fuckin A'!
That´s some biblical proportions science right there...
only if he had a purpose to do so... He was uninterested until he got fucked.
That is how "the way of the world"" outta be..
Yeah, that’s why he wasn’t part of the main plot. Would have been over in five minutes.
This scene is more important than you think, him shooting blindly and hitting every bullet proves that Ben Affleck's crew would of won and got Israel out alive but they just had bad luck that the tremor brothers ambushed them.
Yeah we all have seen the same comment. Thanks for repeating it
@@TheOrangeRoad there's another comment? I said what I said because of what the director Joe Carnahan eluded to in an interview. That they were really the best and they would of taken everyone out if they didn't have the plain bad luck of tremors driving by.
Good point
He wasn't even bothered about his brothers being killed. Sick guy ..
"You shot me...and you murdered my friends"
"Yep... uh y-yeah I know"
"And you dumped us in the lake"
"...Pretty much"
at least he admitted honestly and cooperatively
@@JamesBond-fi8ci I mean... gun in his face.
i liked the fact that he didn't even aim and just emptied an entire clip and still hit him.
@@Wolfsbane909ikr
Even the way he fell to the floor dead was wholesome. Chris Pine is a fantastic actor
so judging by the way he shot Chris Pine there. Those 3 guys might of been some badass gunslingers as well. Just got unlucky by being first ones there.
"Is that who yall was here for lol israyell lol"
Chris Pine is amazing...he's basically transformed in this movie.
"you shot me... and you murdered my friends."
"Yeah yep I know.. "
it was the most psychopathic response I've ever seen
@@Martin-sr6sqno doubt, Chris Pine should play the villain more often also I can't believe this movie is almost 20 years old
"I would advise you to lower your weapon, sir."
Son really thought he was gonna talk his way outta that 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Well ben affleck forgive him, so why not?
He almost did, lol. If he was smart and ran away at the end he could have survived.
I love this scene lol....how conversational Chris Pine is here.....as if dude is REALLY going to let him walk away lol
I appreciate Martin Henderson's trigger discipline. Don't see that enough in movies.
+carnifex2005 Me, too! This whole movie has unsurpassed levels of trigger discipline all around. Very impressed with the actors and actresses.
Well, apart from the scenes where they're returning fire with handguns on a skyscraper many dozens of yards away not knowing which window the .50 cal fire is coming from.
Trigger discpline means not holding your finger on the trigger? Why is that so impressive?
snois2 in real life, trained marksmen wouldn't have their fingers on the trigger all the time, but in movies they almost always do. It's a small attention to detail
snois2 because people are stupid and dont realize how easy it is to accidentally fire off a round ESPECIALLY on a single action like a 1911
Chris Pine was freakin amazing..totally unrecognizable.
I've seen this movie a few times and didn't realize it was him until right now. 😅
nah once you see those eyes of his you know it's him....dude was meant to play evil bastards lol
Damn, that is Kirk. 😮
Wtf...I absolutley loved this move...every character nails thier parts. BRILLIANT
this movie really is underrated. a lot of great scenes, and a solid ending!
Years ago and I've only discovered Chris Pine was in this film. Damn he's unrecognizable in a very good way. Never thought he can be a badass psycho 😯
Truly a perfect example of Chris' superb acting abilitys. He became this character, sold EVERY second. No wonder I used to be obsessed with him.
Used to be? U got no heart
Chris Pine was class in this movie
But hell, at least Ben Affleck forgave him.
"I forgive you darlin"
@@sdawg4834 *Darwin
Characters name is Darwin Tremor
Hollywood directly traffics children. Their movies also promote trafficking and pedophilia. Fact.
I know so
I like how the music is from an emotional scene from the good the bad and the ugly
This is one of my favorite lines from any film. Sums up life perfectly
For some reason, I get the feeling he might not have shot him if he hadn't said what he said before he walked away.
I think he was looking for some actual remorse. Instead Darwin gave him a half-assed "sorry 'bout that" and took no responsibility for his actions, revealing himself as just a soulless psycho with no conscience. Killing him may not have even been about revenge but just the realization that the world was much netter off without him.
Chewable Jim o
@Ben N. well you have a point. He'd lost several fingers, been dumped in a cold lake amongst other things. I'd be struggling to even stand.
He can easily be still alive. A few shots in the direction... Might have a been a flesh wound.
Agreed.
1:31 Thats the moment he decided to kill him lmao
You can see the gears start to turn 🙈
Which is funny, because the last Tremor is actually trying to be a nice guy there lol
LOL (hangs the keys on his finger) im really sorry about that
I loved this movie as a kid
This was one of the best movies ever.
when you realize how loaded this movies cast was
I know! Jason Bateman, too
I think the last line when he said "the way it's always gonna be" got him killed. He made it sound like it was inevitable and the best thing to do is just move on since this stuff happens all the time
Yeah and looking at his hand he was like wtf, the dude just cut off several of my fingers for fun… and I’m just supposed to swallow it. Nah.
Funny thing is that Darwin probably saved his life as he and his friends would probably all get killed like almost everyone else in that hotel
The director apparently said that his crew was the best and wouldve taken everyone out had they not got blind sided by the tremors. Hence the blind mag dump
Make the most sense. No way 3 cops dressed as hotel staff wouldnt be able to go get a guy in the penthouse w/o a bunch of bloodshed.
"Is that who's here for? IZ REY EL!" 😅
😂😂😂
Just by the way Hollis holds his pistol just shows that he and the other 2 were professional and as the director i think said somewhere wouldve succeeded in their task if not for the FBI and Soot
“Is the way of the world! Way is always gon’ be.”
He would have played a great Psycho in Borderlands.
It just dawned on me. The guy's name is Darwin, which fits in with his philosophy that "the way of the world" is that there is no rhyme or reason to things and you just get screwed by the world. In other words, Darwin's Survival of the Fittest.
Izraayeell?
That little dance when he gets shot
I've never seen a movie with so many unrecognizable big name actors.
Shit gets, shit gets wild and crazy and fate just up and fucks ya' for no good reason. You know ha, ha. It's the way of the world the way it's always gonna be. Okay, alright then, peace bro'.
Love it when he put the keys on his finger 😄
It's the way of the world. Way it's alway gonna be. Something really deep about that line.
Dude has clearly lost all faith in humanity and has become a huge cynic.
Can’t change human nature
Cuz it's truth.
Lost my job today. Cane here for this line.
I use this line in my life a lot 😂
Pine has never played an extreme character like this since. It fits him better than playing straight.
Such an underrated movie. I loved every minute of SA and SA2
“If I could take ten percent of what I’m going to make in my career and bet on anybody, I’d bet on that kid.”
- Ben Affleck on Chris Pine after they filmed their scene together.
If he had just kept his mouth shut and left after giving him
the Keys... He might have lived, but no! He had to throw dirt
in the wound! And the Darwin Award goes to... LOL!
blind firing from least 15 yards. impressed but surely harder than we think. great film one of those one hit wonders.
yeehahyy it would have been hard even if he was aiming
yeah it would have been hard even if he was aiming
One of my favorite scenes years later
Watching this now, you can tell just by this scene that Chris Pine would become a star. He should have been a major character and had more scenes to steal.
He was doing alright till he hung that key on his finger 😂
"It's the way a the werrrl!"
I saw this on the theatres and everybody was cracking up at the insanity this film is. At the time I had just gotten into Entourage and loved the character of Ari so when I heard Jeremy Piven was in it i gave this a shot. Glad I did.
“It’s the way of the world”
His face when he walks out 😂
Man pine was perfect for this role love that accent ha ha! Its tha way of the world
Chris Pine is my favorite actor, he can play in anything.
Is Ray El.... lmaooooo 😅🤣😂
Is Ray Yell
lol
Love this scene. They were so nonchalant 😂
Christ pine was amazing in the movie
Oh is that who you was here for,Isrii Al? Lmmfao
Chris Pine is amazing. This performance is on par with Heath Ledger's Joker.
That how u know his a good actor I believe his character
I have been looking for this movie for two years and could not remember the name lol finally!
Love this movie. Chris Pine was legendary in it.
Just rewatched this last week. Dupree and Pistol busted Hollis's balls throughout, but I like how he was able to avenge them.
Wait… That was chris pine??…Like THIS WHOLE TIME!!??
Amazing Acting from Tremor brother to Captain Kirk
Right! That’s what I said! Didn’t realize this until literally yesterday hahaha
This how real acting is done ♥️
The way he put the keys on his one finger left😭😭😭so satirical! He was gonna let him live too
It's so sick and twisted that he said :I'm sorry.
That accent..oh my god.
+Natalie Laverick Exactly. Doesnt sound fake or made up at all and he is from california
straight outa kentucky
@Maori Boy close, southern us.
@Maori Boy uhh, where?
"Crazy motherfuckers up in there!" - LMFAO, look who's talking.
That line doesn't get talked about as much as it should 😂
"is that who you was here for?? Israaaael???!"
That Pontiac is wild
Knowing that's Chris Pine now..... Woow damn great performance lmao hilarious too.
I love that style of character. He's just like the leader of the bandits in the book of Eli.
"Is that who you were here for Israel?" . . .
"I'm really sorry about, about all that" & he *point to the other guys missing fingers*
this shxt right here is classic comedy I crack up everytime I watch it
the icing on the cake is when he thought he was going to live. I mean look at his walk and all the shxt, then the other guy shoots him in the back . LMBAO I'm over here weak from laughing so hard.
Is-Ry-El 😂
01:32 - 01:40
This part right here makes this scene for me
This is when and where I fell in love with Chris Pine.
He just walked away like he really thought it was over and was gonna move on.
Dude has some damn good aim to hit the guy from that far away without even looking
underrated movie
after seeing Chris Pine for the first time in this movie made me hate his guts when I saw other movies with Pine. That being said Chris Pine fuckin nailed this role!! I love how he says, "it's the way of the world-It's the way it's always going to be!"......Classic1
one of the best scene in this masterpiece
Chris Pine acted good af in this
I’ve seen this movie and I didn’t even realize this was Chris Pine.
Oh shit, it's that guy from Torque, Flyboys and The Ring.
JosephDiEgidioIII And Brittney's Toxic video.
Pine is unreal in this movie
wow i like they act this is what all actors should do
Chris Pine killed it in this movie, one of his best roles period
Best billy bob impersonation...was waiting for him to say mustard
This has big gta random encounter energy
I want him to survive, every other assassins team have atleast 1 surviving member but Tremor brothers all dies.
The most truculent and badass movie ever made.
Chris Pine nailed it in this movie.
Chris Pine is hilarious in this movie!
One of those movies I sat their the whole time just baffled and blown away at what I watched... reminded me of Mad Max if it was directed by Tarantino 😂
