Oh my gosh, quite a few errors in this hour long impromptu flip through - where clearly the brain wasn't working at it's finest! I apologize Czech republic totally called you Belgium by mistake! I'm sorry for my errors on remembering. I like Nina's suggestion of me writing down the names of things at the back of my journal with my swatches, I'll try that next year! Let me know which was your favourite month this year, would love to know!? Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, I hope it's a happy one! 🎄 P.s. the answers to the Christmas movies are in the final chapter of this video 👍 x
Hi! I really enjoy watching your videos. Your spreads are beatiful :D My favourites were Ireland and Scotland :) January was Czech Republic I'm pretty sure :) I hope my country (Hungary) will be chosen next year! I would love to see what you would draw from there :D
Lots of favorites but maybe the Mind Map from January is top of the list. It has that art nouveau style I love. Also the color combo in the Ukraine page 14:07 and combining colors with a black & white background. So nice.
I’m sure the first month was Czech republic and not Belgium (cause it’s my home country haha) however it was gorgeous bullet journal ❤ you’re so talented!
This is such an amazing video. My favourite spreads are Malaysia and Kenya, but I absolutely love the genius way you did December. I missed a couple of the monthly videos this year (because ... life, work, etc.), so this was all great to see. Maybe in 2023 you could write down on each page what it is you're drawing (the name of the castle, or the place, or the item or the person) so that you have it all when you look back rather than having to rely on the monthly videos to remember. Thank you so much for all the visual joy you have given me in 2022. It has been a hard year in many ways, but you have brought so much colour and light and creativity into it. You're a treasure. All the best for the season to you and your family.
Oh thank you so much Jennifer, what a lovely thing to read! I agree, I should definitely make notes throughout the year this time - I'll try to do it discretely 👍 wishing you all the best for 23! x
Thoroughly enjoyed this flip through!! I kept saying to myself oh that is my favourite then you moved on and then I said oh that is my favourite, so clearly I can't just choose one. What I do really love is how you created using different mediums and different styles, you are so adept at changing and not being afraid to experiment which I absolutely love. Your journals are very inspiring to me as an artist! 💕 Sending lots of best wishes to you and your family this holiday season 🌲🎅
Thank you so much Francine, I love that my art inspires you! I hope you are being encouraged to experiment too - it's the most fun! A big Merry Christmas to you and your family x
My own personal shout out! ♥ I wore my Nakatomi t-shirt to an early family Christmas get-together last weekend, and no-one got it! So clearly I have to disown my family now... The bobblehead Turboman threw me off, as I remembered Turboman as an action figure with human proportions (well played)! Otherwise, there are so many Christmas films I still need to see! Klaus sounds interesting - with a Sami girl I'm guessing it has a Scandinavian vibe, so I'll definitely have to check it out! I can't pick an overall favourite month or country, but I can pick an absolute favourite page: the Lupita Nyong'o Mind Map page. It is just stunning - so vibrant and joyous, and her skin is just luminous. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas, and I look forward to travelling the world vicariously with you again next year! ♥
Thanks Auntie Hannah, realised people probably thought you're my actual aunty that I shouted out in the video hehe! And maybe you'll need to be now that you have to disown your real family for not appreciating the nakatomi t shirt 😂 yes there is definitely Scandinavia vibes to the movie so you have to watch Klaus (I watched it again last night with my mum and kids and loved it again!) Thanks so much for your support this year - hope you have a lovely Christmas! x
What a fun trip down the 2022 memory lane! I think my favorite for the year was Kenya, although there are many #2 favorites. I really enjoy how you share your research with your art. I look forward to your videos every month!
ALL of them are my favourite! All spreads are just stunning and beautiful in their own way. Thank you so much to taking us to all these wonderful places and shedding light on the countries. Your art is spectacular and it is always such a pleasure and joy to sit down and watch you create all these stellar artworks. I always look forward to your videos and they never disappoint. Thank you so much for sharing all the beauty. Wishing you and your family all the best for the holidays.
Wow, it was so nice to see all of the beautiful months again🥰 i was so happy to see, that you draw Giethoorn in the Netherlands setup. I went to Giethoorn 4time this year, i worked as a tourguide and went to a lot of different countries in Europe. When you have the chance to see Giethoorn, rent a boat or get a guided tour through the canals and after, eating a typically appeltaart with cream in the Restaurant de Rietstulp. Senno, the owner of the restaurant and his staff is super nice!!! Giethoorn is a fairytale place, so unique and beautiful 💜
Oh how lucky you are! What an amazing fairtyale place it looks- I'm glad it lives up to my expectations. I will definitely do those things if/when I get there! Thanks so much for watching. Merry Christmas! x
I'm not sure if you've done it before, but for January's theme can you please do Istanbul (Turkey)? It's a really beautiful place and I would love to see the spreads you make based on the places there:)
Always jump out of my seat when I get notified of your videos. And best time for inspiration for setting up my spreads for next year 😁🤗 Why is the music so enjoyable??! Especially during the mindmap in Chile/June😊🎶
I loved the music part too - glad you enjoyed it! I am literally listening to some playlist on RUclips Music right now and it is getting into my core and making me feel incredible things - music is just amazing! Anyway... thank you for loving my videos and hope it inspired you for your setup! x
Every last bit of this is breath taking beautiful and I could never come close to achieve even part of this. For me it’s a pleasure seeing such art work but also depressing that I know I’ll never accomplish any of it.
Oh thank you so much but I really believe if you practice enough, you definitely would achieve it so please use it as inspiration to keep trying and you will grow into art that you are proud of! There is no end date on the learning process of art X
I think if I have to pick one,I’d pick Scotland,it’s one of the countries I visited and want to go back to.I think the magical themes you picked for it capture the spirit of the land. Also I think that was the first monthly set up I saw being a new subscriber to your channel. Mary Christmas 🎄 and a Happy New Year 🎇
I appreciate your work it's just wonderful, awesome, outstanding brilliant , I love your work alot keep it up sister your theme idea your painting skills r excellent I love this alot nd alot😊very nice
Thanks for my first birthday present. You uploaded this video on the 8th, PST, so tomorrow people can celebrate the holidays. LOL. I saw on your reading list 1984 and there are 2 graphic adaptations of that, by Nesti, and Namai, that are great. Namai's art is fantastic, but the both of them give you a solid understanding of the book. I can't choose a favorite theme, but many times when you don't like your art, I think you're crazy. I think it's great seeing you and your journal together. I haven't seen that often, and it does get tiring seeing just fingers move around. :) Thanks for a good year of learning art, history, and geography. Happy new Year.
Happy birthday Kaylene! So glad you liked the look of seeing my reactions to the pages - I get a little bored with top down videos too so wondered if people would prefer that look - thanks for letting me know! Thank you so much for your support and hope you have a Merry Christmas! x
Oh lord was Belgium only in January this year? Time moves so fast and so slow at the same time 😂😂 Edit: yup, thought so. I don't think this is Belgium because I particularly remember the smurfes on the Goodliness page. I think it's the Czech Republic?
Maybe it's an idea to put notes on your theme's at the back of your journal so you remember what it all consists? Then you can look back and see which castle it was for example. And you can still swatch pens and markers and washi tapes since it doesn't have to look pretty :)
Beautiful setups. Have you decided if there will be a “system” for next year? Like you had when you chose the first letter of the m month and the country? You could take two to three countries per continent (I mean North America only has two and Antarctica only one so there still would be some countries per continent for next year. 😊
Good afternoon Torryn Marie, How are you? Oh! Do not worry. mistakes can happen to anyone. courage courage. I wrote a message in the December Plan With Me video. The Chilean flower is called COPIHUE. I thought of you because I had the privilege of visiting two of Pablo Neruda's three houses in Chile: ISLA NEGRA and SEBASTIANA. I will go to the CHASCONA one day, it is in the capital in Santiago. I wanted to share some news with you: I graduated from my master's degree. I loved the whole flip through. it's difficult to choose a particular theme because each country has something special to discover. We travel thanks to your talent as an artist. I had my tea with my cakes every time I watch your videos. this is my pleasant moment. thank you so much for all you do. My questions : Bahamas is it the January 2023 theme. When will the video be released this month? when can we choose for theme of February 2023? I want to thank you for this year 2022. it was a wonderful encounter. thank you so much. Everything you do, your work means a lot to me. I wish happy holidays for you and your family ( Christmas and Next Year)
Congratulations Yasmine, what a big achievement for completing your masters! I'm a little behind schedule for the release of January due to busy schedule but hoping to have it out before start of January. I'll get the vote organised for that video I think 👍 hope you have a fabulous Christmas and New year! x

All of these are stunning. My favorite page spread is the first Nepal painting, it's absolutely breathtaking! ❤
Aww the Read panda Beautiful 💕 Its lovely to look back at your journal for that year so so pretty 😍.
Beautiful artwork setup 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
wow. this is insane! i LOVE all the themes and your art is incredible 🤍 i’ll definitely be taking inspiration !!
Ireland was my favorite because it was the first video of yours that I watched and I loved it so much!

Wow the egyp one was insane, beautiful. I’d like to paint like you. Congrats. Amazing spreads.

Each month was gorgeous! I really enjoyed the weeklies, especially Ukraine's, how they opened up to more art in one overall scene.

Absolutely amazing!
Thanks for the great flip through. It’s lovely to see them all again and revisiting the countries 💖
Thanks Lorraine! X
Yes, it's Art Noveau and that's an inspiration from the great artist, Alphonse Mucha. 💕 He is also my favorite artist.
