With all of the TV shows being cancelled quickly regardless of their quality, it sounds like this game could be called Netflix Show Simulator. 😆

You can easily just torrent The Movies. Just saying.
80% of the things you said happend to me in one way or another, fundamentally the thing with time passing to damn slow really takes away the difficulty of the game which makes it anything but entrataining. Same with the award things where you basically do useless stuf yet win all god damn trophies lol. Or what about let in the game decide the scenes for the next movie automatically and deciding no matter the genere of the movie to make 20 scenes exactly the same one from another while 2 of the actors shoot each other. I really see potential on this game but clearly lacks a lot of the things that made The Movies a great game, i really think they need at least 1 more full year to reach a point where it's actually fun to play the game

I spent a few hours playing this game, but unfortunately, it didn't quite capture my attention. In fact, it only made me want to play The Movies again. It seems that this game still has a lot of development to go before it can stand out on its own. While I might revisit it in a few years, It's just way too early.
I do hope they keep working on it, as there's much potential here to make a reasonably good indie successor to the movies. It just feels like it's not even in a state worthy to be called Early Access (which it's not, anyway) and I think the steam reviews reflect that.
