    I found your channel through only one breastpump video. I have stuck around because you are MUCH MORE than just a breastpump review channel. I love your gift guides, chit chats, and just overall your mommy content. I got invested in keeping up with YOU, tbh!

    I subscribed to your channel because of the pumping content, but I’m staying because I love how relatable and real you are. 🙂 when you do wean, please don’t hesitate to use your platform to cope and grieve your breastfeeding journey. I’m sure it’ll help tons of mamas out there grieving their own journey, and I know it’ll help me when I wean from baby #2s journey. 💜

    I really just got teary eyes when you talked about grief when closing the breastfeading chapter. I feel like thats absolutely true and I really needed to hear that.
    My last breastfeading journey was a very emotional en rough one, because my daughter had feeding issues. After 7 weeks I stopped with live breastfeeding and weaned (after succesfully breastfeading my 2 older sons for a long time) and I felt very emotional about it, because it didnt feel like it was my choice. After 3 weeks being weaned, I read about exclusively pumping and found your channel. I thought about relactation and did it succesfully, thanks to your channel (and ok, very hard work). So thank you, not only for your content, but also for being a voice in the (lonely) journey that pumping can be. Your comments about the grief feelings: I totally get that and its important thats something we can talk about, because its a real thing.
    Looking forward to see what jewelry you picked!!

      Aw Laura, sending big hugs! I’m happy my channel could help and it sounds like you’ve done an amazing job💕 I think being honest about our feelings and letting them be felt is one of the kindest things we can do. And even better if we can find others who relate! I can’t wait to show you guys and I appreciate your support so much!🤍

    I feel like it was forever ago that I was up around 3am trying so hard to pump for my week old newborn and I was looking a tutorial on how to use the Spectra 2 pump, not because I chose it but because a friend of my mom gifted it to us and I just didn’t understand that thing... finding your channel was a bright light in those dark late nights, finding someone that taught me everything I needed the moment I needed was amazing, I related very well to you and your content and from that time on I just followed you... I believe that your channel and yourself have been changing but for good, you’ve been growing and developing along different circumstances of life and I believe that’s what has encouraged me to keep following and keep watching... we’ve moved on from different stages of life kind of similarly and you’ve always been very open and real... that’s why I think that no matter what you want to show on your channel, people is still going to watch it. The natural way you’ve evolved tells us that your day to day is very relate-able and personally I like that...

      I sobbed while reading this and I can’t ever tell you how much it means to me🤍 I so vividly remember those exact nights you mentioned and how lonely they felt. To know that my work has helped reach someone who was also there and was able to lift them in anyway makes everything I’ve done 110% worth everything. Thank you so, so much for your continued support. I am nervous for the future but with a community like this, your guys make it easy to be excited at the same time🤍🤍

      @@MommaAlia your videos were definitely the brightest light in those very dark nights when I struggled over and over to. Breastfeed, pump and keep my little one fed... I honestly believe that your videos get to people just because you are you, because you like what you do and you make your videos that are super honest and real... no matter what you do, you’ll be successful so keep exploring stuff because even though some people is not in the same stage than you, some other people are on your same path and your company is the best you can ask for...

    I found your channel while EPing for my first baby. But she and grown and my interests as a mom have grown with her. I love your ‘mom’ content, breast feeding is such a small chunk of time in parenthood and not even a part of
    Parenthood for many people! You just do what interests you and people will follow or not.

    Love your “relaxed” attitude towards pumping. Have found my rhythm as well juggling other children vs pumping on a strict schedule and you helped me get comfortable with pumping enough. With your TL do you have heavy periods?

    • @MommaAlia
      @MommaAlia  3 года назад

      That makes me so happy to hear Erika🥺💕 No, I haven’t noticed that. I’ve always had heavy periods and the only difference I’ve ever seen is switching to my menstrual cup. When I started using the cup I saw my flow decrease a decent amount than it was with tampons and pads!

    I know I'm only one person but I'll still be watching. We have birthday twin girls so I'm probably going to be going through the same life changes around the same times as you. I haven't breastfed in 3 years but I'm still here loving your videos

    I love my pumpables pumps but I also want to try the motif duo! I also don't have any worries about your channel because you've already started producing other content so once you wean it won't feel like a complete overhaul of your channel when it happens

    Is the bravado bra u linked on ur amazon page the one u were referring to in the video? Is that the only kind u used? Is it supportive enough as a day time bra?

      The hands free one is, yes! I’ll add the regular bra as well and I think it is! Certain versions of their bras are more supportive than others. But when breastfeeding I find the body silk seamless bras are the most comfy!

    I only breastfeed but want to add in pumping to boost my supply. Have you tried the Elvie? And would you recommend either the Elvie or willow to someone with me that has elastic nipples that are small, but also have large breasts

    Isn’t 32oz of milk too much for a toddler? My doctor asked me not to give more than 16oz of milk per day to my 15 month old so she eats more solids. I find feeding her milk so much easier than forcing solids; I wish I didn’t having to restrict her milk intake

    • @MommaAlia
      @MommaAlia  3 года назад

      We just had her 18 month well visit and her pediatrician is happy with everything we’re doing! I’m not familiar on what actual recommendations are. It may have to do with type of milk, the babe themselves, and maybe even the doctor’s opinion. Our ped takes diet and growth curves seriously so I’m confident with what we’re doing. She’s made so much progress with solids and I see her doing better each day! I understand momma, I’m sure you’re doing your best!
