When we went on vacation I spoke to the hotel manager and asked them if I could keep my milk in their refrigerator. They treated it like medical supplies actually. I gave them a labeled lunch cooler tote with labeled storage bags. We had a mini fridge but it didn't seem cold enough and I was dealing with an oversupply. I know some wouldn't be comfortable with that, but it worked for us.
I’ve traveled on a plane with breast milk and all the employees that were working were super understandable. My son had a feeding tube as well and they were super understanding about that! I believe they had to pour a little milk one time to get tested but other than that nothing crazy has happened
Just to note... i use my Willow containers more than once lol at home I rinse and store in the fridge and out&about I just pour my milk into a silicone bag and store in a cooler with my milk. Every night I do a vinegar-Dawn-hot water soak and scrub and have had absolutely no issues.
@@MommaAlia yess! This is the BEST brush for the containers! Also, if your container is getting foggy do a vinegar/water (1:2) soak for about 5 mins and they will be sparkly clean afterwards!! www.amazon.com/dp/B07SYW3VL4?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Alia, thank you for all the in depth info you share. I’m in need of a smaller pump- debating between Motif Duo and Ameda Mya. Help?! I love the Lansinoh signature and respond well to the super-gentle settings. The long, slow expression mode is incredible for me! I’ve tried PISA (lowest setting was sooo painful), and the Spectra S2 (was still uncomfortable on low settings, don’t remember if it was still painful, but once I tried Lansinoh Sig I finally didn’t mind pumping). I love how tiny Mya is, but can you tell me if it gets super gentle like Lansinoh? Does Duo? You said Duo feels similar- is it gentle enough for a low suction pumper? I really appreciate your time!!
Happy to help momma! I would go with the Duo! The Mya is super gentle but it sounds like you use a very low frequency so I think the Duo could offer you what you’re looking for!
Very interesting on the air concept. Do you think it matters if putting in fridge? I have a high lipase issue and usually pump 7-9oz each morning to freeze but wait till 3 pumps(oldest would in fridge 48hours) to scald and freeze.
I take a frozen ice pack, pop the part in a baggie, and store them with the ice pack! It’ll keep them fresh long enough to get another session. Keep in mind it’s something you only wanna do if you’re little one was born full term, healthy or cleared by their medical team if not!🥰
It’s 2:47 in the morning & I have been binge watching your videos! I wish I came across your videos at the beginning of my journey
I’m here now!!🖤🖤

Thanks! Any tricks for washing inside them? My bottle brush does nothing lol so I’ve been doing my best with a sponge

I don’t think so because the fridge is helping preserve it but I don’t think it could hurt either!
What portable bottle warmer do you recommend/use when you’re trying to get your cold breast milk to room temperature?
I’ve never used an actual bottle warmer, just a real hot cup of water!
Gonna do the willow review? :)
Filming this weekend!
Thank you!
Happy to help!
If you have to pump more than once in the car do you take extra pump parts or keep using the same ones without cleaning?

Waaait so you guys have never gone on an overnight trip/vacation since having the kids?!
Nope! They’ve spent the night away from us at grandma’s house but we cancel every vacation we plan last minute😂
Can you do a review on the Spectra 9 plus please?
Hopefully soon!🤞🏻
