@GetOutTheHouseGoFish Mike Bennet and St Augustine Sandman Mike Cook set out from sisters creek boat ramp to the Mayport Jetties in search of Springtime Spanish mackerel. Using gotcha plugs and steel leader they managed to catch more than enough!

Mike this is Bill again. I told you about the gotcha lure. It really works well. hope you had a. Fun day.
Yeah I’ve been using Gotchas for about 4 years now. Love em! I’m also a fan of ES lures too.

Great video there Mike ❤
I want to go surf fishing with ya sometime too
Let’s go!!!
Mike if you have a pellet grill. Put the mackerel and smoke them at 250 degree for 25-30 minutes. Whatever spices you like.
Thanks for the suggestion. Spanish Mackerel are great without smoke too though. I eat them Sashimi style and fried. It’s the king Mack’s that I definitely like to smoke bc they don’t taste that good to me.
Some fun and good eating. Just trim out the blood line. Taste better than speckled trout to me.
Great eating we fried ours this time. Everyone in the family loved it!
Hey sandman I’m out of st Aug and would love you hook you up with some awesome snook and red lures when I put up a website keep making great videos
