My daughter 2 y/o and I love watching your show! She watches from beginning to end especially the cooking part. She also like to see your kitty and puppy . Thank for keeping the show clean of offensive language and at a level that both adults and children can watch.
As a 70 year who has lived and fished in ny fl and tn, it is wonderful to see a guy from a younger generation embrace fishing and the life as much as you do. Fantastic!
When those big Ole Mercury missiles sky rocket I always gotta throw a big popper . Love the show and watching them hit that popper as fast as they do is amazing.
Hey Aaron, great to see you back at rod and reel! Looks like a beautiful day out in the keys .Love how you keep it real and even show when things don't go as planned. That's why I love watching.
Keep them coming brother. The snow is gone but the weather still blows. I think i know what we’re having for supper. We are blessed with a store that has a very good fish market. Not as fresh as yours , but good enough when the winds blowing cold.
Very cool. Long day in the Keys. Like the sitting around and eating part of being a boat Captain the most! Sure fun to have you share your time with everyone just like we were there!
Great Day On The Water Regardless The Winds, Your Ceviche Looked Great, It Can Be Made A Whole Lot Of Ways And Very Healthy For You, Beautiful Part About Living In Florida, Enjoyed Your Video And Always Look Forward To More, Wendy
Hey my brother, great vid, so nice to fish with someone who loves it like I do. You were giggling like 8 year old kid. Wonderful youthful enthusiasm!!! The skyed Macs on bait have always been special only some of us get to see and you bring it to the masses. Great stuff.
Hahahahaha omg!!!! Sorry that my comment has resonated so much. Stepped out of your comfort zone a little on the sammy. Was nice to critique it almost instantly and add more of a specific ingredient. As always, love the content.
Great rod reel episode. I usually use 2 .oz crocodile spool with 12 lb mono and light spinning rod and reel. Can't wait until the mackerel start showing up around the briges and piers. Thanks for posting.
just had to tell you- I made my first ever ceviche last night. I used Mahi Mahi and cocktail shrimp with lemon juice, red onion, english cucumber and cilantro. It was sooo good. thanks for the inspiration, I would have never thought of trying it without your videos. It will be a staple at every party going forward!
Another great video Dibs! Loved watching you work thru the struggle and come out on top. It doesn’t always work out that way. Great to see Tuna out there. I’m sure she is like, ‘where’s mine’? The ceviche looked awesome. Great content. Thank you!
Hi Aaron. Im from south africa. We catch King Mackerel here too. We cook em in an SA potjie pot with onions, fresh tomatoes, spices, devil chillies ,potatoes, and they come out great. Ie. Lots of juice, big Mac slices and they cook down well. Firm enough flesh to keep the steaks whole. Good recipe.
Love watching the videos. You have a very encouraging calming effect. I'm so inspired to try your recipes, where before, I'd never think of trying anything new!!! Thank you & keep filming, we'll keep watching!!!
Man that ceviche looked delicious !! It's amazing how those paper towels help so much with meats and veggies . My wife thought I was crazy when I told her they would make certain items last longer . As long as you change them out . Anyhow...... another awesome video !! Thanks Dibs !!
Great day on the water ! Up in Jersey in the mid to late 1970s, my Dad and I would catch mackerel on a party boat with 15 or 20 guests with a jigging rod using 5 or 6 tube jigs on the leader. I remember guys reeling in 4 or 5 at a time. They were fairly small but alot of fun. Dad lived to be 94 ! WW2 Navy vet never spoke about it. Great memories.
Another great video . I really really miss fishing and diving , because of my age and medical problems I cant any more . Thats why I love your videos , they take me back (even though its a different country , and the fish are called different names but , basics are the same ! ) also you give the whole story , ups and downs (pun intended ). Thank you so much for sharing.
i know it was only the skin but tuna was mad when you throw the scraps in the water. i hope he or she got some fish! Cat dad myself, every time i come into my house with my cooler after a fishing trip my cats know there is fish in there. Very smart! great video as always
Good catch my friend!! Thanks as always for the videos. Hope you guys are having a good winter, I really dont like winters, it is cold here in Miami and I love our summer time. God bless you!
I was wearing my pants like that yesterday! Except it's Maine, and my pants are insulated, and I was standing on 7" of ice, catching trout, crappie, and bass! 🤣
Enjoyed this one a lot. Ceviche is on my list of things to try and make. I love how you show the real stuff too. Getting broke off. Happened a dozen times to me today. Thanks Aaron
Ceviche is one of my favorite dishes. Like you said, there are 100 different ways to prepare it. I like to add little chunks of pineapple in mine. Great video Aaron!
I am from phillipines watching all of your videos, you did a great job all of your videos 👏👏👏 iloveit dude keep it up and God bless and hoping I can have some fishing rod like that😍😍😍😅😅
Awesome episode Aaron, keeping it real,i love it. Great shots of the kings airing out we had one end up right in the battle the boat with a goggle eye in its mouth in hawks channel one day ,crazy.nice cero.gotta love winter in KW
Nice presentation, looks good. I read that tossing the fish with kosher salt first, and then the acid, yields a really nice flavor and texture. Tight lines
Hey, Aaron 👋 . Those fish were whooping you! I can’t get over their teeth! 😳 I often woner what it looks like from under the boat when you’re reeling them. Perhaps seeing a shark 🦈 going after the Mackerel 🫣 As always, great video and civichea looked bomb! Have a great night.
I love your channel, Aaron. I reside on the Space Coast and follow your clips. Your ceviche is missing the a avocado, that makes all the difference in the world from this Mexican…. Keep them coming!
Aaaaw man I'm miss this!!! Just came upon your channel!!! Anything about fishing I'm in like a tick on a dog. Lol. Wow wow . I would love to do fishing 🎣 like that. You're Bless man. Really. I wouldn't care how many time I lose a fish. To have back to back hits. Yes sir!!!!!! Small? shoot. I'll keep that one. Lol
That looks SO nice 😋 sometime try Jamaican style, maybe with Wahoo steaks....you boil apple cider vinegar with onion, scotch bonnet pepper and whole allspice berries. You grill the steaks just long enough to get grill marks then pour on the cooled vinegar, fridge overnight...try it , the fish is probably overcooked by most standards , but you get a nice flake and the flavour... Good fishing
I've had ceviche made with wahoo in the East Cape of Baja California with lime, onion, cilantro and Jalapeño's and it's great when fresh caught. I make it with white meat fish like rockfish and other ingredients like tomatoes, cucumbers, cilantro, and avocado added when ready to eat. I'm going to see if they have the mackerel when I'm fishing in Baja the next time to see how it tastes. What you made looks great ENJOY. Fair weather and tight lines.
Yet another amazing video by Dibs on Bottom! The way you kept your composure loosing the hooks, and the fish flying out of the water was awesome! Definitely appreciate you taking us along on the journey! Keep up the awesome content and what about the mini spear guns? ;-)
We love watching you in all and any video. We have been talking about coming down to do a charter with you after we move to Florida. We would have a hard time deciding what we would want to do, because we want to do it ALL!
Next time you make seviche put the diced onion with lemon and add salt to your liking and let it sit for 5 minutes. Then add the fish and let it sit 2-4more minutes. Then and the tomatoes, celantro and celery last. Make a video if you try it and keep up the great content 👌 👏
