Good enough. My grandfather Hallie White used to reblade knives for people. I now have his knife. He had removed the pins and replaced the blades with large spear point blades, one on each end. I'm sure he made the blades from files. They are ground from the edge to the back of the blade and seem ultra hard which I suppose does means brittle but holds an impossible edge for a very long time. Why do this? He takes the knife out and opens a blade and he has the main blade. The knife is going to be SHARP. If on blade seems a tad dull he can always use the other. This wasn't a pry bar. It was used for cutting and this knife absolutely can cut like a dream. I doubt if anyone is reblading knives now but maybe they should.
You've made a lovely pocket knife. In 1926 George Schrade patented that idea and mass produced that knife in the millions until his death. Then his sons continued to mass produce them still into the millions. Do a Google search for "Geo Schrade Wire Jack pocket knife". I must admit that I think I like yours better though. George Schrade's Wire Jack Knife is a small folder, yours is more on the size for a hard user and I like it.
Great project and great video
