yup, I was definitely half-joking in this video. I genuinely do believe that had picky picky not been released, a lot of 4th gen highteen concepts would look and honestly even sound different. there was a shift, not even loona was doing highteen back when they introduced their school girl concept for the subunits. k-pop was still very much more in the christian horse girl vein in terms of the concept with f(x) and of course snsd being the only ones to stray from the course- which is a given as both are under sm.
I don’t know too much about weki meki but it’s definitely a shame that they don’t get enough credit for their concept! This video also makes me want to get into their music more as well!
