Why does everyone seem to think Finland was trolling with Lordi? I mean, they probably didnt expect them to win, but Lordi is a pretty high profile band. you dont send in someone who has a serious chance at winning if you dont want to win.

Lordi and the Russian grannies were NOT a troll act, they were just a fringe act (perhaps it was their country the one who was trying to troll Eurovision, not the artists themselves). Eurovision trolls are those artist who goes to the event to sing something stupid about and/or against the contest: Sylvia Night, LT United, Rodolfo Chikilacuatre, Dustin the Turkey, Rambo Amadeus, etc.
And I'd add Ukraine too with Verka bc it's a popular artist and not a troll at all

We need these kinds of entries to break up the monotony of all the stale super serious entries.
