I love your content. I am going with sitka gear because of you. I know it's a little bit more expensive than normal but it's like life time choices

Thank you! Glad the videos are helpful. In the long run I think you’ll be glad you did. Most people I talk to who wear Sitka fanatic gear don’t regret it.

It’s always a good day when there’s another North of Detroit Outdoors video in my feed! As always, great video Don. Thanks for the very detailed and informative review… this pack looks like it will fit your needs perfectly and serve you well for a very long time. Good luck in the remainder of your deer season!

I have a question , I’m new to hunting in a tree. My question is yes this bag is nice and quiet, but if you tag a deer in the backwoods, how would you pack it out with this bag. I guess I’m trying to figure that part out . What do hunters do.?

Good question. Most hunters who tag deer (especially those close to urban areas) don’t need to quarter the deer and haul it out in pieces. That is typically reserved for larger game. In most cases the whole deer (dressed or undressed) is dragged or carted out in one piece and processed in a more convenient location, or simply taken directly to a butcher. A good example of this is shown in my video released on September 20, 2023. Hope that helps!

I honestly don’t think I have seen a product/gear review that kept my attention and focus as much as you did in these Sitka product reviews. I also feel like I could TRUST your review, buy something off of it.
I have all of the products that you have mentioned and showed, except the Fanatic Gator. I guide for a living and I might be able to give you some ideas.
-Scent and having to wash the gear often- have you used any of Ozonic’s products? You should look at the Gear Locker, and one of their field machines. I trust and use them every hunt.
-Gator being too constructive and not liking it. I saw where you modified the backpack and you could probably make a cut on opposite sides of it so it flares out more. You could then sow-up the cut edges to keep them from tearing/separating.
-Regarding the camera gear. I have never used Muddy and they may be the best out there, but I have used Fourth Arrow’s products for the past 6 years. Blows my mind how lightweight they are compared to what I used before I found them.
Good luck hunting, and I will definitely subscribe.

Wow! What a compliment! Thank you, it means a lot! I appreciate the tips. I have not used Ozonics as I like to pack in as little as possible. I’ve also heard it can prematurely deteriorate clothing when in direct contact with ozone. Regarding the gaiter, I’ve considered what you recommend (with the addition of some elastic material to connect the open seam) but I use it so little that it didn’t seem worth the effort. I did use it more this past season on a frigid hunting trip north so maybe I’ll reconsider how worthwhile it is. Regarding camera gear, I probably didn’t do enough research on camera arms…fourth arrow arms seem nice. Thank you for the support! 👍🏽
