Does the bat wing sharp features on stand (part that digs into tree) dig into the back of the pack into the light duty material or is there a reinforced area to make it last?
I bought the pack, and there is no Hypalon reinforcement on the side of the pack the batwing sharp corners dig into. I have a piece of hot seat foam on it for now, but I may just buy some hypalon material and attach to pack.
I just bought it, and it doesn't have a hard shelf per se, but the hypalon bridge between pack and "frame" is very narrow, so if clamping the game bags between two layers is enough, seems doable, but it doesn't have a good shelf. It does have detachable and adjustable load bearing straps that he reattaches at end of video, although unlike some other packs, they don't lift way up high to shift the weight.I think if I wanted to bring meat out, making a larger primary game bag with a couple G hooks and attaching those G hooks to the same loops as load bearing straps attach to, it would work fine. All attachment straps for stand, and bag to stand, are plenty long
