Good luck getting into your normal size shoe with this brace on. My mother takes a size 7-regular width. Couldn't get her into her shoes even with the shoe unlaced. We bought a pair of 8-wide...couldn't get her into those shoes either with this brace on.

I transitioned to one today after wearing a boot cast for over 6 month. My Dr fitted me for mine but it’s easy to put on

The title says "ankle brace fitting" but the video doesn't show how to fit the brace. I feel misled, and I still don't know how to fit the brace.

I just sprained my ankle and fractured my growth plate. The air cast is what I have to wear.

i have had an air cast before it doesent help at all there verry uncomfortable to walk in and you still have to use cruches so there really no help at all its not like you gonna roll your ankle if its sprained your not gonna be running on it, it doesent take a genius to figure that out

Kristyn Auton There is also the fact that they don’t always work. When I sprained my ankle they put me in one of those air casts and crutches. And then I was fine (or so I thought). Soon after I sprained my ankle again and it was swollen. The swelling was still there years later. And I now have a chronically painful and weak and swollen ankle. And it’s always being sprained because I wasn’t treated properly and the air cast didn’t do anything.

Does it immobilizes your ankle so it doesn't move up and down?

It kinda moves up and down but I imagine it would move more if my ankle wasn’t swollen.
