Take all the time you need we will be here for you when you are refreshed and ready to film again. You are awesome and you should take a well deserved time out. See you on your return xxx
There is no way I could have done what youre doing when mine were small. Its a tiring phase to be sure but so precious. I'll remain a subscriber. Im at the other end facing empty nest and wondering who I am! All I will advise is love, hug and enjoy your little one because when the grand patchwork quilt of life is completed ... these patches will be the most vibrant ❤
Thank you so so much! And I'll look forward to doing it all again when he leaves home in years to come haha. Good luck with your transition too. Motherhood is a wild ride. x
Hi Sophia. You take all the time you need spend lovely family time its so important. You come back when it feels right for you and your family. I Enjoy all your vlogs. God bless you for all the time you have put in its much appreciated. ☺️xx
Best decision!! As Mums we have to 'reinvent' ourselves at different stages of our lives and that process takes energy. So great that you are giving yourself options, that mean you can be there for your child - priceless!
Understand everything you say and you must look after yourself and your family. Will miss your vlogs but we will still all be here whenever. Enjoy your time as a mum and your own sewing time 💜
Totally understand, always glad to see your helpful videos but not if they come at a cost to you and I'll be here whether you post weekly or once in a blue moon! Hope you find some sewing time for yourself x
Life changes so much after becoming a mum - I can really relate. Please look after yourself and take the time you need to figure out what is going to be best for your and your family going forward ❤
Completely understandable. It’s tough. I worked when my daughter was young and it’s very hard. I was lucky to have my parents who could collect from nursery and school. But the evenings I needed to spend with her so I wouldn’t have had time to do videos. Enjoy your time and give yourself a break. X PS I’ll miss your videos!
I will miss you. I haven't watched for very long, but I have learned so much from you. Will stay subscribed so that when you do post something I will know and be able to watch. You must care for yourself or you cannot care for others.
Thank Goodness you decided now..just do it, go off into the sunset for a while, I, we will be waiting for whenever you pop up again you have really made your significant mark and I have learned so much from you. Wise move. Best Wishes to you and your family x
I have valued your videos and the education/tips you provided so much. I will miss them while you're gone. I hope your time away from RUclips is peaceful and joyful. Go take care of yourself and your family. We'll all find you when/if you come back.💗
You are right to give yourself a break.A lot has happened ,not just becoming a mum but also having to close your business. You need to just rest and stop planning anything that isn't essential. When your feeling more you what about seeing if there is any need for evening sewing classes in your area, say 6-8. Also I know some you tubers just record their channels without editing, warts and all. After having my first child I thought ,Who am I now as I felt people treated me differently.Once I realized this was my feelings and I had just added being a mum, which is awe-inspiring , to me,I relaxed. You can't do everything so use this time to just enjoy you as a mum. I will still be a subscriber, even if it takes you years to get back. Also, have you been to the doctor to check your iron levels or just for a chat. 29.6 k subscribers is a huge amount so be proud of yourself. Sending you a cwtch from Wales x😘
Right behind you Sophia. Enjoy your little one while you can. They're not little for very long. We will miss you but your health and well being are very important. Thinking of you.
Sounds like a good decision, hope you enjoy your time off and manage to recharge. I tend to only follow RUclipsrs for the videos where they share what they’ve been making for themselves anyway, as I get to know them and their personalities and enjoy being inspired by them. Then if I need to learn a particular skill I’d just search as and when. But I can see the value in longer courses and would love to do your appliqué and free motion embroidery ones at some point. Just don’t have enough hours in the day!
My goodness. You’re obviously very driven and I can’t imagine how burnt out you must feel after running your sewing school and the added pressure of covid, not to mention regular life stuff. Take all the time in the world, little ones grow up so fast. ❤
when making the quilt, make sure you keep at least one thing that you don't cut up for the quilt to later on look at it and be like: ohhh....look... that is how little you were :) Hope you get a good break and feel refreshed for new things to come.
Hello, I watch your videos from time to time and I just wanted to say, I totally get you, I have a 3 year old and it's hard to juggle between all the responsibilities. Sometimes a break is needed and it's great that you recognised that time :) I would just say, I think what really works for people who create videos/share their knowledge on RUclips or other platforms, is to still make some free videos (or other type of content) on certain topics that are popular to gain audience and subscribers but then have a paid service as well. It could be courses/more specific topics with very detailed videos. Maybe something like step by step course on how to do a certain pattern from start to finish, maybe it's one of your patterns shared for free but then a paid course with step by step instructions on how to make it. I think free videos are essential however for getting exposure and putting you out there so that people can find you. Once they find you, then they can stay because you're so lovely and they want to continue learning with you :)
I can't imagine trying to run ,multiple elements of a business with a small child. Nobody will tell you to stop, so I'm glad you have reached the decision on your own. You won't get these years back, so enjoy them and come back to this, if you feel like it in the future.
Hello! I can only imagine how hard the balancing act must be! It is definitely the right decision to prioritize your time for joy, with your little one and with your own sewing projects and with yourself. With regards to funds, would Kofi be an option? That's a non subscription way to support. All the best of luck :)
Hi, We don't know each other but I want to give you a big hug. Be kind to yourself and step away from RUclips if it's stressing you out. It takes so, so long to plan, make and edit videos. A chatty vlog from time to time would be lovely and might take you less time to prep? X
Family comes first. We (RUclips) will be here when you are ready.
Thank you for all you do. ❤ 🌹🧵🪡👗🥰
Thank you so much. I appreciate it! 🧡
Take all the time you need we will be here for you when you are refreshed and ready to film again. You are awesome and you should take a well deserved time out. See you on your return xxx
Thanks so much Val! x

Even though it’s been your business, sewing is supposed to be fun. And more importantly, make the most of being your baby’s mum!! It goes so quickly.
Thank you Sue! So true. x
You need to look after yourself first we will still be here x
Thanks so much! x

Oh I'll always make free videos, it's just not at the rate and with such extensive information each time. Thank you for your kind comments. x
