    D'Antoni spearheaded Linsanity. The fast paced playstyle of Lin with pick and rolls with Tyson Chandler elevated that. He was unlucky to have played with 2 ballhogs in Anthony and Harden plus with injuries, it was game over.

  • @Magicstockton
    @Magicstockton 6 месяцев назад +12

    Melo jealousy. Lin was literally on his way out the league before D’antoni gave him a shot. When you are one of the best at what you do and some person comes along that’s not touted as high as you gets the same shine/ more shine than you, it does make you feel a way. Carmelo probably called Bron and told him to shut Lin down.

      It's pretty obvious what they did behind the scene. Carmelo's agent was Mike Woodson's agent. And Carmelo was close with the Dolan. Carmelo taking veiled slights on Lin along with JR Smith's comments. Those guys are just selfish dudes. Not a shocker. Then you have Carmelo's spin doctors in Stephen A Smith stirring the pot.

    If it is true that Melo is the reason behind the end of Linsanity,
    I can only say that Jeremy deserves the ring he wore,
    and Melo truly deserves not having any, retiring without a ring to wear, and hopefully not retiring his Nuggets jersey, with Jokic being the one to retire it.
    The only thing Melo deserves in retirement is the memory that his ego destroyed the chance of being teammates with Linsanity.
    If all these rumors are true, it is proof that harbored ego brings no good.

He’s not the first player this has happened to and it won’t be the last. We saw the same thing happened to Brandon Roy at the height of his career and Brandon Joy had better numbers then Lin.
