What's the point in having a security camera when someone can pull into your car port on a loud scooter and you don't come out to investigate until they pull off.

Buy a bike 🔒 lock. It's worth it.
Someone stole the wheel off my son's bike. They brought tools and removed the entire wheel. So we bought a new wheel. In the mean time we we're given a metal bike rack used with bike locks.
So we attached the bike with the bike lock. Two days later we got up and went to go outside so he could ride his bike . Bike was gone...someone had cut the bike lock off.
All of this happened in the span of a week. We don't have a garage, so we keep all bikes inside the house now.
Someone woke me up banging on my door one time in my life and I don't feel like they are a fast to knock on someone's door much less bang on it again.
People who do this for know reason definitely belong in prison 😮

Those 2 that tried to jack the car with kids? Yeah, if the porch pirate or thief is fleeing I'm probably going to let the cops handle it (which they won't of course), but not sure about that one. Those guys need to be off the streets. Maybe pursuit in this case is reasonable...but I seriously doubt she's going to bring you your gun LOL.

@@kingmichaeln1 Why would you have to bring the kids? The wife was apparently home (he yelled to her) and most families have 2 cars. Anyway, the dudes escaped on foot, walked away briskly. He/they may not have been difficult to keep up with (but may have had accomplices parked nearby). Definitely risky, not suggesting a fire fight in a residential neighborhood in broad daylight. but you maybe can keep an eye on him, follow while on phone with police or 911. IF people like this are coming around your neighborhood you may want to be more than passive about it, but it's obviously personal choice. Cops would definitely not encourage this (following a suspect...and he arguably had not even done anything illegal, chargeable YET). If I were him, I would not have yelled but gotten in my car and followed him/them not drawing attention to myself but seeing where he/they goes to. I would know I have him on film. (but that may be the neighbor's video)
