Man, coming back to this after OverDress anime and V Series, I forgot how hype the fights were in this show. I like OverDress and V just fine, but none of them get me as excited to play as G
Hayao, despite his loss his perhaps one of the best characters g could have finished with. He may not be as outgoing or confident as some of the others, but he is, unlike some, willing push past his own limits to reach his desired goal. And aside from 1 or 2, is also perhaps ones the best narukami players to date in the anime series.+ vanquishers, kahmehameha styled galick gun, omg

@The one and only the thing is, Bulwark doesn't bind, the skill only retires a [rest] rear per 4 cards in the opponent's bind. And even without Bulwark, Henri's already at thunderstrike 4 by the end of his turn, he bound 3 rears using Sparking, Vbuster, and Rockclimb respectively, and since he used Chatura's draw skill, he also bound a card from the drop zone. And before his 4th turn's main phase, he's already at thunderstrike 7 (the 5th one's from Sparking's thunderstrike, and 2 from Sparking's stride skill)
Unless Henri’s hand was empty during his turn, which I’m pretty sure it wasn’t, all Henri had to do was a call a card to his back middle, which was empty. If he does this, even with the retire from Blademaster and Ziegenburg, as well as Saori calling everything from his hand (like he did) they’d both still have 3 rear guards. Since Blaze only works when the user has MORE rear guards, Ziegenburg would never blaze, meaning it would never restand, meaning Henri would win on the next turn. I love both of these characters and their decks but honestly Henri threw big time
There's some animation error, when Saori stride his 2nd Ziegenburg it was shown that he has 4 cards in his hand would mean he would have been able to blaze if Henri called another rearguard to the back row

Hayao could have won if he save stride fodder when ziegenburg attacks , but he choose to guard shakur instead of taking fifth damage ,what a waste ...
Hayao's fatal mistake is G guarding on 2 damage, he could've saved that +10k G guard for zieg's 2nd attack
he needed the extra card in his G Zone for the GB3 and quad drive

I like how 99% of the time honri gets heal triggers it shows his character to be very resilient no matter the situation
