Gyze is one of the original gods of Cray. Void is an entity that's alian to Cray that tries to destroy all that exists. They are not the same.
Also side note. Neon Gyze I beleave is the first Cray Elemental we see played in the anime.

Gyze shadow paladins is weak. But Gyze Angel Feather is pretty scary, especially when the player plays smart and leaves the enemy vanguard on one damage. You can even pull him off first stride with some hiniel/arakiba assistance.
Use phantom Blaster diablo and you basically win against gyze
Dragfall, Luard not true the samefor engulf maelstrom as angel feather player can simply call their pg from damage zone with the pg skill to add15k to guard
So Gyze was behind Void and everything that happened pre-Vanguard G with Aichi and them

Z is the best season of vanguard. I can say it has been one of the best written animes in the past six months.
Till decided to make Cuckzuma become Gyze's Vessel instead of Chrono. I prefer Chrono is the one diffride by Gyze.

I thought the damage from the zeroth dragons at the end will be them blasting shiranui, but all they did was farting at him with purple farts......
Like how Relics's crystals have similar color schemes as Gastille, the creator of Relics, himself.

Holy Crap! This is looking up to be one amazing final battle! The best final battle we've had in Vanguard yet! I'm kinda getting Yusei vs Z-ONE vibes from this. That would be really cool if Chrono has to fight the actual Gyze and not "Kazuma".
Here's my thought on how Chrono's gonna survive. He either:
1. Defeats Gyze before his 5 damage effect goes off.
2. Takes the effect with 0 damage.
3. Takes the effect with 1 damage and a heal trigger.
4. Uses Chronoviser Heritages skill to get another turn.
Those are really the only ways I can see Chrono surviving. It will most likely be number 4.

This confirmed a long standing suspicion i had. GYZE is Darkness from yu-gi-oh GX. Same voice, same mannerisms, same philosophy. He also said in the novel during season 2 that he fled from another universe because of "That boy and his D@mned heroes."
