- Today we're making 2X8 boards for Ranger Jeff. We have a big oak that was dropped off, but wow is it UGLY!! 32" diameter at the but and 24" diameter at the skinny end. A real sawmill would have rejected this log, but we took it on as a challenge! Thank you for watching.
Wayne, you guys are getting it down, good job.
Thank you. It's exciting to see everyone doing their part and working together as a team!
Doing a great job
Thanks!
hi there good job ,best to all john
thanks John. Let me know next time you feel like giving a sawmilling lesson!
When you have that little nubbie after bringing a piece back, why not just run the carriage forward again to clip it off? Yakkity Sax (Benny Hill theme song) would be appropriate for the speeded up footage lol.

Yes on the music. The problem is, it has to come from RUclips or include a license. And frankly none of their free music is worth a darn. I tried some of their paid music, and that was garbage also. Yes on the nub, as long as the log is less than 21" diameter. We really need to get the 56" saw back on!

I don't know what that means but have a great day!
dunno why you need music ,...the people watchin your channel , probably rather hear you mic the engine and cut the level down a third,...and GO with it,...talkin levels are fine
be careful , Mike
Mike, I use the music when I speed up the slow parts. I was hoping it might be better than sped up noise.... Maybe not. Or maybe I should try to sing! Thanks for the feedback.
@@WaynesWorldGarage well, hell if yer gonna sing ya may as well buy a cheap chineese guitar and go heavy mtl so no one knows how bad yer voice is
