Kids today doesnt have a clue how good this guy was. Seria A was unbelievable. Watching gazetta football italia on channel 4 in the 90's was the best times. So many incredible players. Actually feel sorry for todays kids.
As a young kid watching football from 97-05 we didn’t care so much about the stats and all that. We just watched football and knew who was quality. Simple as that. Now it’s how many goals how many assists, pass completion etc to determine who is good. Not just watching with your eyes & knowing.
football was so much fun back then,,, Ronaldo, zidane, totti,delpiero, scedorf, davids, batistuta, maldini, nesta, cannavaro, cafu, nedved, buffon, toldo, perruzi, veron,pirlo, baggio, zanetti,recoba, rui costa, sheva, inzaghi, vieri, gattuso, stam, thuram, trezequet, djorkaif, stankovic, mijaholvic and many others... I really miss those days, todays football is quite boring and lacks a lot of talent and aggression. its like a video game and EPL is so dame overrated, imagine the likes of sterling or delli alli or even harry kane playing back in the 90's ... they would be lucky to be playing professional football in the first place

The book actually teaches about the JEWS and THE 10 COMMANDMENTS my friend.
the bible teaches that in 6 days THE 10 COMMANDMENTS (GOD) created the earth and everything in it. In exodus chapter 19&20 (KJV BIBLE) it was explained that the 10 COMMANDMENTS freed the jews from under the bondage of the Egyptians hence they pledged that they'll return to making him their king. *The scriptures goes on to show us that they would however continue to break and bend the laws hence, THE COMMANDMENTS would send Prophets to remind them of the covenant in exodus 20, but they would beat and kill the Prophets whom GOD sent, so the MESSIAH told them (through the Prophets) that he would've became flesh and the things that he would've done, likewise what would've happened to him.
Now, the new testament explained that THE CHRIST did became flesh and fulfilled the things that he had spoken (through the Prophets) but his own *Jews* rejected him and cast a new law stating that *if any man among them accepts or acknowledges that this man is THEIR COMMANDMENTS, they'd be beaten and cast out of their synagogues or even stoned to death....the jew even undated their old testament by keeping only the five books of Moses and removing the ones that prophecied about the MESSIAH becoming flesh, and called it Torah...
My friend, the book teaches that all these apostles bear witness of him, that he is the 10 COMMANDMENTS/KING OF THE JEWS/MESSIAH/CHRIST made flesh therefore they left everything that they had including their careers and followed him (THE COMMANDMENTS)...they even went to preach
him worldwide but were mocked and called christians (Acts 11:26) and were even brutally murdered...later, the romans changed everything including the times & laws, named it Christianity and legalized it within their kingdoms....

My friend, when the MESSIAH came, he taught us of himself (THE COMMANDMENTS) from a 2nd person perspective, for us to clearly understand how to follow him (THE COMMANDMENTS)...example...he taught us that the 10 COMMANDMENTS (himself) is the Holy Spirit (holy spirit means perfect knowledge).
He also taught us that the 10 COMMANDMENTS (himself) is the father of all living things...but because of the way he was teaching, many jews thought that he was making himself equal to GOD. Hence, in the gospel of John chapter 10, it explained that the jews told him to tell them plainly if he is the CHRIST and he told them that *I am the good shepherd* or that *I and my father are 1* or * i am in my father and my father is in me* meaning he is the father, clearly saying he is GOD...remember, they don't agree that he is the MESSIAH (their 10 COMMANDMENTS), hence the took up stones to stone him and even accused him of blasphemy....

I remember watching Ronaldo for inter on football Italia growing up back when the serie a was the best league. He was undoubtedly the greatest player I’ve seen play live.

Ronaldo was on another level. But the injuries stopped him reaching his full potential. When you consider how good he was, you can only imagine how good he could've become, especially without the horrific knee injury he suffered at Inter. Tore the tendons in his knee and, according to his doctor, the knee cap "exploded and ended up in the middle of his thigh." It certainly cost him a large chunk of his electric pace, and he had problems with knee injuries the rest of his career. That he made it back at all was considered a miracle, let alone continuing to play at the highest level.
By age 23 he'd already scored more than 200 goals for club and country. That is why people believe he would've surpassed CR7 and Messi's current figures had he not suffered the major setbacks.
He was a freak of nature. The only other young forward in recent years with his pace, power and creativity was Wayne Rooney.
Rooney from 16-18 could be overwhelming at times, he had so much raw talent.
Injuries and poor habits cost Rooney a chance of greatness also think Ferguson and his system stifled Rooney in the end.
Although Rooney's feet weren't as quick and his technique not as sublime.
@@nostalgicbliss5547 As a Utd fan myself, Rooney is possibly one of the most infuriating players we ever had. Simply because his lack of professionalism in the off-season (and the bad habits he indulged in throughout his playing career; heavy smoking and drinking mostly) meant he never reached the peak he might've got to had he taken better care of his body. Still a phenomenal player of course, and wrongly blamed for all of the England team's shortcomings and failures. I remember at the time we signed CR7 that Rooney was considered the better player. I don't think it was Fergie's system so much as it was Rooney's own commitment to the team. He'd play anywhere he was asked, without complaint. Always willing to sacrifice his own game so the team could get the best out of other players (like Ronaldo).
People also tend to attack his supposed lack of goals per season. They don't know, or didn't care to know Rooney much preferred playing 10 to 9 so he could be more involved in matches. And they tend to overlook the fact that in the 2 seasons he consistently played as a 9 that he scored 29 and 34 goals respectively.
Seems to be a thing with English players not realising their potential either through injury or not looking after themselves as athletes. Robbie Fowler (arguably one of the only Liverpool players of that era that Fergie desperately wanted to sign, even though it would never have happened due to the rivalry and Fowler's definitive Scouse origins) was another who could've been sensational. While not at Brazilian Ronaldo's level, he was an incredible finisher (one of the most natural goalscorers England ever produced) but 2 major knee injuries, plus his Rooney-esque lack of care for himself put paid to that. Maybe one day we'll get one who is as obsessed with health and fitness as CR7 is!
@@austinseven4720 England also always rushed Rooney to big tournaments when he was dealing with injuries preventing him from fully recovering. I just remember teenage Rooney being a sensation. Anytime he got on the ball you felt something special could happen.

He was strong, fast, agile, explosive, quick feet, great balance, technically gifted, two-footed, clinical finishing, great timing and spatial awareness, feel for the game and football IQ.
