- A working weekend both in and out of the sheep barn as we get ready for a family road trip north with the kids!
Mama Red is now not only walking on her own, but actually running to get away from me now. (much more like a sheep again. lol)
Carissa and I did a weight on our newly weaned lambs, who by the way, are pretty quiet (and their moms) considering its only been two days!
Snowmobiling took a bit of a wrong turn for Jess however... TWICE.

Thank you for not hurting the opossum
Thank you Carissa for all your work and allow the family take some time off. Good also to see mama red up again ^^.
Love that you left the opossum alone. They are good at keeping pests away. Also hopefully mamma gets better. Poor jess. And I love that the bottle baby is obsessed with you
Yess I'm early again! Hey Sandi, I am a neuro divergent woman, I have autism, ADHD, anxiety and depression. I suffer from panic attacks and a lot of long sleepless nights with other medical conditions. I only say all this because I wanted you to know how much your videos really mean, I have been watching for a fair few years now, I cry with you and laugh with you and honestly, your videos are like this warm comfy blanket when I'm having a really hard time. Thank you so much, I could never explain how much the routine and repetition means to me, if everything else is chaos I atleast have you and your sheep. All my love and gratitude to you and your family, Lilly
Wow.Im so glad that you sent your heart felt text. And that it is medicine for you to see the family, human and woolie animals lives
GOD BLESS
You are a very special woman. You are finding way to get through your days. I don’t have your health issues but I can identify with your sleepless nights. I have had one tragedy after another these past 3 and a half years first I lost my mother and 6 months later I lost my husband I was finally getting through the grieving process than my daughter was diagnosed with colon cancer at the beginning of last year I was with her when sh passed away this past September. That’s when I found Sandi’s channel I love the animals. I have gone back to the beginning of her videos and she is awesome.
Lilly, you aren't alone and Sandi is an awesome safe space.
Hey divergent sister! We deal with the same stuff and probably watch Sandi for similar reasons. I just wanted to say hi and I hope your having a calm day. Lots and lots of love!
Oh thank you for treating that opossum good because they eat a lot of ticks and bothersome bugs!
🐾💕
i was waiting for her to go over and assist it back into its home LOL
0ppossum? I've never been a picky eater, until I ONCE tested the canned version...😮
Highlight of my day when sandi notifications pop up
I about died laughing watching Karissa pick up the "escapee" lamb and put her over the barrier...you always capture and show real life on your farm...good stuff!
I often miss all these little moments when I'm working, so love editing when I can catch them and share with you all!!
You show in every video how much you care and look after your sheep and I am honoured to see your journey. Never doubt that you are doing the right things for YOUR sheep, even if others do say "I wouldn't do it like that" because your methods and actions lead you to success and this particular sheep proves that.
I love that you took a break and had some fun with the whole family on holiday. Keep going Sandi and prove the naysayers wrong because we believe in you and what you are doing 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Watching the part with the lambs. Could not be a sheep farmer. They too dang cute. I'd end up keeping them all
I just adore the touching moment when Red's momma turned her face towards Sandi @2:37 ❤️
She knew Sandi was helping her.
That was some damned exuberant ear flapping!
You might check her ears? The way she is shaking and turn her head when walking.
She might have stuff in them, like flees?. Just a thought since she is don't moving around much.
Have a great week!
You are so determined to give her the best chance and I admire that most people wouldn’t put in that extra effort. I so look forward to your videos. Winter is hard for me I’m turning 66 in march but your sheep and babies with their shenanigans makes my days better. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Have a wonderful week!
Me too Sherry birthday in March
I totally agree with you Sherry. I look forward to all videos but specially the lambing
Have a good vacation. Your sheep are in good hands. Enjoy.
I turn 67 in March.
I can't remember the age number but my birthday is in March... Bad Lynn 🤣🤣🤣
Sandi, this is why we all appreciate your vlogs. Not only do we get to see the everyday of your sheep and regular farming, but you are willing to take us along on your family vacation. You allow each and every one of us to enjoy your vacation as well. Cudos to Carrisa for allowing you to go away and not have too many worries of the sheep and dogs.
Now that's the Canada I want to know. So cool
You go Red! So happy to see you had family time. Hope your back is better Sandi.
Watching that possum trying to climb back into its little home brought back memories. When I was little, my parents had blackberry briars that took up a good chunk of the yard. There were some raccoons who would raise their babies there. Mom was picking berries one morning, to sell at the farmers' market, and she heard a little noise. Looked up, and there were half a dozen little eyes watching her!
We never minded the raccoons. They helped keep pests away from the berries. As long as they didn't mess with the chickens, we didn't see a reason to bother them.
Oh, Sandi, thank you for bringing us along on your vacation. I will never experience that much snow or ride a snowmobile so experiencing it virtually with your family was joyous!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've tried snowmobiling once. It's hard work and not for the faint of heart. Jess, those turns and bushes just seem to jump up on you at speed. Don't feel bad.....😬😵😵💫🤯
Snowmobiles... Great tools but horrible "pleasure cruisers" . Nothing like a breakdown or getting stuck and needed to walk miles through waist deep, wet, snow to get back to civilization. Cross country ski's anytime please!
I love how you pour so much love on your sheep. You nurture them when they're sick and make sure they get a good diet and get all their vaccinations 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
Sandi, I just wachted your video, did my wordle (in German) and today's word was "Wolle"! Which is German for wool!!! 🐑😊
Sandi you need to name and keep that lil babie that was attached to you so cute the bond it has with you
Sandi...you CANNOT ship that “puppy” away! Too cute, too loving! Please keep her!
Yay! It's a Sandy video! So good to see the family having a break together. You all work hard and play harder!
Hope you feel better quickly.
So great to see mama up and moving on her own. "No! You can't catch me!"
👁️❤️🐑🪡Much!
Be interesting to learn more about Carissa. She has been with you for awhile now. Great video
I don't know why but I just want to brush the mama sheep. Hope her wool begins to grow soon! She is so sweet and is showing a strong drive to survive.
Here I thought I had the most cluttered vehicle. You have me beat. Love seeing the sheep and the vacation footage. Glad you had a great time. It is wonderful to see the results with the mama sheep because of all the love and care you gave her.
All the trail and Jess hits a bush! Lol
Now you MUST keep the little one, she loves you so much!! Selling her would be meanness
Cheers to the possom! Yeah I know Opossom, but no one says that here.
So good to see Red’s mama moving on her own, and happily eating on her own!🐑❤️ I was surprised to see her avoiding her blanket, nekkid as she currently is. Even with a slight warming spell, she’s probably not thermoregulating efficiently without her usual wooly covering. It reminded me of little kids refusing to put on their snow coveralls and boots to go play in the snow - who come back indoors in about 5 minutes, soaked to the skin, chilled, and complaining about being cold….
Looks like y'all had great time snowmobiling. Love that "strange looking cat". We have them too under the bales around our porch. Mama Red is doing excellent. Eating, moving about, even though she looks like she saw the worst Dog groomer in the world. Poor girl needs that blankie. Wish you were closer I'd bring you sheep jacket like we use in the winter on our black sheep to keep them from bleaching in the sun.
Sounds like a great idea. Maybe you could ship one or post a video with a detailed description so someone closer could make one. The calf jacket Sandi tred before just wasn't big enough and wouldn't stay put very well.
I have tried to post a link to the type sheep coat. But RUclips keeps eating post.
Yay! I’m so happy to see this ewe up and going! I’m sure she is so thankful that you had the confidence in her to recover! She looks 100% better so far! Y’all live hard and play hard! Thanks for letting me tag along 😘
Possums are cool lil'critters, they eat ticks and other insects. Their also the only marsupial on this side of the world.
Seeing the family get away, in the snow, the cabin, the mountains, trees just truly warmed my heart. I’m a Western New York native but now live in Southern California and as warm and beautiful as it is I sometimes miss the beauty of a cold snowy day!
Well, this was a pretty heartwarming episode, so glad to see Red’s momma fighting back, she is proof that sheep look better with wool though!🤣
So wonderful to have Carrisa in your life and extra special to have her willing to hold down the fort so you can get away with the family, she is such a blessing! So nice to see you all together having fun, reminds me of our snowmobiling days!💕🇨🇦
Dang sandi, that’s the kind of storm that makes you wonder who made Mother Nature angry! So wonderful that mama red is doing better! You never give up. The breadth of your heart has no limits💕
We got the 4th storm of the season, yesterday in Western Massachusetts. Happy I only got about a total of 6 inches. It looked worse coming down all day 🙂 Been lucky all 4 times, got a total of 2-5 inches each time and thankfully was melted before the next storm hit.
@@BlondiNativeAme3 please stay safe!!
So glad you are realizing that possum is your farm friend too. (kind of a toss up of friend or foe, but glad you didn't kill it.)
SO SO glad that you were able to get away for a week of family time!!!!!!!! Thank you Carissa for keeping the home fires burning and being so reliable that Ms,Sandi could relax . What a wonderful happy video, even with a few bumps and bruises.
Thank you for being kind to the opossum! I know some people don’t want them around but they do provide a service to some extent.
Love the way the ewe was standing solid even though she was shaking her head so vigorously.
Omg the little one following you around was so precious 🥺
The one you call puppy is absolutely adorable!
Agree...I wanted to pick it up.
Me too!
she's a sweet pea!!
Sandi, I know you have to look at them for breeding stick. However, if I lived near you I would come & buy her from her. - Martha
It's so good to see Mama Red up and moving so well! Family time is important. It's a shame more families don't take the time to just be together and without electronics!
My parents went ice fishing this weekend with my brother and his family.
@@jennifermassie7227 that's wonderful!!
@@Msviolet65 my mom was soooo excited!! She's never been. My dad went last year with my brother and a bunch of his friends. It was a drunken fishing trip!! Lol
@@jennifermassie7227 LoL that's great!!
I love that you and mamma red became buddies through her struggles .... she was such a boss sheep and I love that
When that ewe shaked her head and her ears got all "flappflapp" it got me so giggly 🤣
That proves even adult sheeps can be sooooo cute. ☺🥰
Lol Did you see her lip flap too? So cute! 🥰❤ The flapping reminded me of my basset hound. ❤
Yes. It also reminded me of one of my dogs but sheeps have their owe sweet charme 🥰
Any animal that lays and doesn't want to eat or drink has given up the fight. It's then we step in and do the kindest thing we can and put them to eternal sleep. Blessings to you and yours Sandi
Sandi, me and my daycare kids watch your episodes and they have named Reds momma Margie....lol.. 😂 I have no idea how they came up with it but I love it and hope she keeps improving since the kids now ask how she is EVERYDAY!! Thank you for sharing your farm and for being mostly kid friendly 😜
Only looks like a few hundred dollars worth of damage, good job Jess! LOL!!
As I am watching Sandy stuffing a ice pack in her sweats I am sitting on an ice pack myself and it was from a snowmobile incident! Darned toys!
I can't wait to see Carissa running her own farm someday! So happy to see the sheep standing and walking around. Praying she keeps getting better daily til she out with her friends again. You care so deeply about your sheep it's so nice to see Sandi🥰❤
Carissa is learning a good deal, that she'll want to put to use someday, but not too soon. Sandi is enjoying her help and friendship
I wish you would keep that tiny female lamb that follows you everywhere & thinks you're mom- if it's at all possible to find a permanent place in your barn for her with her breeding. It's so sweet to watch her interact with you. And we can see by the smile on your face what joy she brings to your life. She's a special one. 💕🐑
I made my last snow angel over 10 years ago now I need a rescue squad to get
me up after a bad knee surgery but at least I can walk enjoy your time off with family it nice to have Carrisa such an excellent worker
There is nothing like having your babies under the same roof! Priceless! 💜💜💜💜
So glad to see her robed steepness gaining. And thanks for taking us to to the forest on your holiday.
Living here in Central Florida, I've never snowmobiled. But I can say I've been several times, virtually, with your family. 86 here today! 🥵
I think the mama sheep feel your strength and determination so she is trying to not let you down ... you are such a great caretaker ... this is why I continue to watch your channel ... remember to stay safe and stay blessed
I love this video. Jealous of the snow mobiles. It looks like a lot of fun. I hope everyone has recovered from the rough rides. It’s always cool to see another family have a fun time together. Thank you for sharing your life with us. Take care and God Bless.
Boy that does get might loud 💨💨💨 but there's something about that white fluffy stuff just makes for a good time ☺️☺️👍👍🐑🐑💩"rude" makes me laugh every time ❤️❤️
Im glad mama sheep is getting stronger...
That baby "puppy" lamb that you said you bottle fed sure shows the importance of early bonding in mammals. Obviously you did a great job in caring for her and nurturing her! Great job!!!
Hi Sandi, I am glad Red‘s Mom is getting better, but agree with others who have commented here that Rex should give her a hand’s on once-over to see if she has torn something as the lump and yellowish discoloration under the skin near her bad leg look suspicious.
Thank you for sharing your love ❤️ and light 🕯. 🧡🐑🐏
Oooh, good head shakes!!! Mama Red is looking better and better! Cannot wait to see her able to get up on her own!!!
Ewe is doing fantastic!!! Great video and so nice to see y'all together for some well deserved family fun
Sandi Brock I love your sweet caring for your sheep and your family ❣️
You have to keep that adorable bottle baby, it adores you so much 😊💕
Only other farmers can truly appreciate a clean truck.
I'm so happy Ewe is feeling better❣🙏🐑
Sandi, I can see trouble ahead. That bottle-fed lamb was so lovable, it put a smile on my face.
The problem you are going to have is when it gets to sale weight, you are not going to want to part with it, or the lamb will jump up into your arms and not let go.
I hope you have both recovered from your ache and pains.
Nice to see that the ewe with the blanky is up and walking! I loved seeing your family trip. North Bay is beautiful. My favorite city in Ontario. You deserved some family time away. It was good to see you having a relaxing fun time. Thanks for sharing.
You guys had a cute cabin for your getaway. Red's nama is looking so good. She has a great shepherd looking over her.
I kept talking to the scree: "Help him up, help him up!!"
Loved that you guys were able to get away for some good family time!

Mama Red seems to be coming along just perfectly.
It was nice to see you all enjoying your family vacation, I'm just sad that you and Jess had to be hurting for some of it. But hey, at least you got to veg on the couch...if you had been home you would have continued working and probably aggravated it more.
Loved the opossum interlude!
I cracked up in self-recognition at the card-playing “I didn’t loose!”
it's a rare occurrence!! LOL
love the "car" disappearing into the hay bale! i have a family of possums that visit my deck regularly...for the cat kibble I leave for them...with shelled walnuts!! And Mama's walking...and eating!!
"cat" not car...LOL
OH MY HEART! ❤ Momma Red is looking and doing FABULOUS! My heart BURST seeing the Cat-Opossum and he/she being allowed to go back to it's warm comfy home. They are SO VERY beneficial. However they do carry something that can make horses very sick and kill them. I'm glad you don't have horses!! Puppy LOVES YOU SO MUCH! I hope you, Sandi, and Jess are feeling MUCH better physically soon!!! I miss snowmobiling ( I was born and raised in Michigan, USA) but I don't miss the snow and cold! ( I now live in Southern Oklahoma)
Never clicked a notification quicker~ love your videos, how real you are staying...
اني احب الغنم واحب هذا العمل الانساني
شكرا لكي على كل المجهودات
I love the pink naked body and the little wooly tail! I love that you can grab handfuls of sheep to move them around. You can’t do that with pasture sheep with out getting a handful of prickles.
That dang bush jumped right out in front of Jess it was not her fault. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
I see her hair is growing back! Yeah!
I loved you chasing down our recovering lady to put the blanket on her. Lol!
!!🐑: But I don't want to take a nap!!
It's so nice to see the family side Sandi. Don't get me wrong, I love the sheep too, but seeing you all together melts my heart!!! Glad Jess didn't get seriously hurt and I sure hope your back is feeling better!!! Stay blessed Sandi!!! Love you guys!!! ❤🤗🙏🏻
So happy that you were able to have a get-away with your family. I did get a chuckle though when you were trying to put the blanket back on Red's mama. You looked like a bullfighter and she kept avoiding you.😃
ITS BEAUTIFUL TO SEE THAT THERE ARE FAMILIES THAT STILL SPEND QUALITY TIME TOGETHER OUTSIDE OF ALL THE SHIT THAT GOES ON IN THE WORLD. ESPECIALLY WITH UR CHILDREN♥♥♥
Glad to see the green sunglasses. " iconic sandy "
🥰 I'm so glad you took a vacay and had some quality time!! Were you able to sleep in (maybe 5am instead of 4??) 😂
Sandi, you are so special JUST EXACTLY HOW YOU ARE to all of us!! I'm disabled and bedridden, so I'm living vicariously through you. 💋
You are my favorite RUclipsr and I know it's crazy, but I feel like you're family. Cannot thank you enough for sharing your adventures. ❤
Sending love to you and your sweet family (humans, dogs, sheep, and apparently possums(!😳😂!) - obviously including amazing Carissa, who is so wonderful and adorable!!) from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. 💐🐑💙

Watching you clean your vehicle reminds me my vehicle cleaning is waaaay past due 😞 I keep a store plastic bag between both front seats for trash. I hare trash in my van. Love seeing Carissa 🙂
Thanks for sharing your day. 😊
Love the North Bay area. Use to deliver new truck from the States. Never got to explore it. Just beautiful driving thru.
Sandi you are such a good person to nurse Red's mom through this. She is fighting hard to get better, and I think it is because she knows that you are fighting for her. Also, your playful camera work has been noticed and enjoyed! 🤣💗 Much love from California.
Momma red looks much better. Pinched nurve with mastitis would be my guess why she went down and it hit her so hard. You can see her wool growing back and her skin dosent look sunburned. So happy she turned the corner.
thinking the same also!
@@SandiBrock stay awsome Sandi
Loved your compassion for the little opossum & the lambs interacting with you. Really enjoy your videos.
she look wayyy beter than a few days ago , i think her wool is comming back slowly , as she look less naked pink in some area that was totaly naked ! you did an amazing job sandy , i'Ts always a pleasure to watch evrey single of your video ! good luck red'S mom on road to recovery !
