This books belongs up there alongside the Art of War! A true masterpiece of the mindset and lifestyle of a warrior. Thankful for this summary I have this book at home.

Facts i have the art of war& read it so many times that when people quote it in movies or anything i just recite along and know the words ,the book of Five Rings is definitely up there with that it was my 2nd book.

As a martial artist myself, this was a really good video. And I agree with idea of martial arts less for showing off and more for practicality and perhaps more importantly training of the mind, and it sounds like Miyamoto Musashi's teachings are more focused on the mind than anything else. I'm intrigued by the idea excelling of others. I really like the last section about the emptiness scroll. So true, it isn't about the fact that you don't know something, but that you continue to pursue knowledge. Like-12

It certainly a great book to read obviously, it's not ideal how he acquired his knowledge, but I guess the times where different back than.
