@Connor Perrett AI can't come for the coders. They're the ones making it, and not just for other things. The goal is to have ai replace low level coding. It's annoying and repetitive, and I'd much rather have an ai write as much as it can for me. Especially considering a well made ai isn't gonna make the same silly mistakes. Fully agree. I never appreciated the wisdom of that book when I first read it. It wasn't until a year afterwards that Mishima's thoughts finally resonated with me.
True. But a man can dream. The other audio version of blood meridian on RUclips just doesn't hit as hard as the burned man talking about the judge would.
Joshua Graham's voice is gravel-like enough to make whatever he says always sound wise and deep. And soft enough that you can easily listen to him read out a 1 hour audiobook
David K. Groff’s translation has a great introduction about Musashi’s life that provides a lot of context about the life that brought him to his philosophy and how he captured the minds of people more than other even more accomplished swordsmen. Did you know he asked for no grave stone or monuments in order to return to nothingness but they made some anyway? 😢
26:18 , “Holding the long sword. Grab the long sword with a floating feeling in your thumb and forefinger.” I mean i hold my rifle with my last three fingers, bro is still spitting facts almost half a millenia later
This legit was one of few things that got me through a severe depression, paired with a girlfriend with a soul as white as the sun and the fact that I forced myself to go outside and sit in affermentioned sun for hours on end. Thank God for people who listen and the vitamin D!
Can someone please have Joshua Graham narrate some Solomon Kane stories, I think his voice would be a perfect fit for the puritanical swordsman in question.
The ending of Wings in the Night in Graham's voice would give me chills. It already sounds like something he'd say. Or the "Men will die for this" scene from Red Shadows.
it was so cool to be prophesied in joshuas name for i did call archangel micheal and gaberal and i spoke truth before i have went back and forth to the desent lands i have asked to save your children in your name oh lord give me strength to fight this war
Man, you should make an audiobook of Marcus Aurelius' Meditations with calm and deep voice (and if you do, please make it British). This is revolutionary.
I can not explain to you how hilarious it is to me when the camera backs up and he just keeps talking like nothing happened and walks towards you, almost like someone trying to escape and realizing this is their life now
I doubt it will ever happen, but it would be epic as fuck to get Joshua to read MCDP 1: Warfighting. For those who have read it, you know damn well how hard some passages go, lol.
I'm pretty blown away, it sounds almost perfect. Are we basically at the point that we can now do this to any book now, using any voice? If that's the case, is this technology publicly accessible? I ask because I'm a pretty big nerd about the A Song Of Ice And Fire books and can only imagine how awesome the audio books would be if each piece of dialogue was read by an AI voice of that character. Is it possible for someone like me with 0 knowledge of AI tech to make something like a multi character version of an audiobook happen with enough work? I'd put a lot of time into having something like that, it would be so immersive and literally hundreds of hours of entertainment each listen through.
Joshua just casually walks up to you and starts talking about japanese sword fighting and strategy
He thinks he is Musashi for real. It must be a psychotic breakdown from all those burn wounds.
Typical day in oblivion really
You don't do that?
For an hour and a half straight without interruption
@RisingJake I mean, it's rude to leave a conversation so might as well, y'know?
Yes finally, I heard the Art of War, now The Book of Five Rings.
Impressive.
Joshua ain't kidding around. He's here to educate you.
Very nice, let's see Paul Allen's card
I need Joshua tell us a Warhammer Lore lol
my god, it even has Joshua graham "profuse sweating"
Know yourself
Please don't stop making these. Joshua Graham's voice actor is beyond next level, and renders eveything that is being read so much more enthralling
A shame he’ll never make a single dollar from his voice again. A.I took that man’s net worth growth.

@@Cardstock1321 How to live as a man.

Right on time. I listened to your Art of War while playing games religiously.
Dude, thank you so fucking much, I've been going back to The Art of War one you did, it's honestly getting me through some weird times man.
I’m glad it’s having a positive impact on your life man. More to come!
Weird times never last,
Weird people do.
i’ve never related to a comment more. love that vid but seeing it so many times, if i have to hear, “Sun tzu said” again it would ruin it for me
This book was written in 1645- roughly 1200 years after _The Art of War._
You mean 2100 years after. The Art of War was written in 5th century BC
And it was written a short while before Miyamoto Musashi's death
Both are essential for strategy
Art of war, Three kingdoms and journey to the West the three treasure books of China
@TheMetalwolf77777 this one is Japan
These audiobooks are absolute bangers. I feel like I could understand any topic explained by Joshua
Joshua Graham reads BLOOD MERIDIAN needs to be in the pipeline
dude I wish. it would get taken down within a day or two

He would make a good vampire or dark mage.... He has the creepiness and audio presents of people like Boris carlov, Vincent Price and Christopher lee.
Next do "the prince" by machiavelli. These aremy 3 favourite, I bought a strategy collection with these art of war, five rings and the prince.
I got this art of war and hagakure
The prince read by Caesar, or better, mr House
After the prince should be 48 laws of power.
@@jaimevenegas5582 dont know this one
@Shadow's rants check it out its well worth it.

The Hagakure or Strategikon would both be cool to hear Joshua read.
Fitting to see the legate spending his time here.
Why not both?
Next, Joshua reads "the prince" by machiaveli
Another Joshua Graham reading a book episode? Fuck yeah please
Now this, this is art
Joshua Graham telling me about kneeling to Buddha is so weird to hear coming from him of all people
Can we get Marcus Aurelius' "The Meditations"?
I’ll bet his voice would be great for reciting wilderness survival guides.

You need to do anything by Machiavelli, "the Prince" is great but he also has other great ones

every time i cook dinner i put on Joshua Grahm (5 rings, bible, Marcus Meditations, The prince, ex)
