This really hit me like a freight train today. Thank you for this.
As a Karaite Messianic Jew, just turning 53 years old, just becoming an "empty nester", I've wondered if ANYONE thought the way I thought. This really has given me something to learn from and share with others. I agree with about 95% of these teachings honestly. I've tried relationships over the past 40 years, including 2 marriages, and always felt like I could never find anyone that understood me. This all makes so much more sense now.
Thank you again. Blessings.
Musashi & Aurelius are indeed BFFs in some infinite universe somewhere 🌠
Lol
Think lightly of yourself and deeply of the world.
Bad advice, you are more important than this world! You should value yourself, you are not here for long and you are unique. The world has and will be here for a long time.
@@wealthypepe😂😂
@@wealthypepeso the impermanent and presumably novel is more important correct?
Uh oh. You've got a lot of learning my friend @@wealthypepe
you've misunderstood the quote maybe. It means to take it easy on yourself, we're usually our own worst enemies. Think deeply about the world so be external and not caught up in your own illusions. @@wealthypepe
Do not insist on things you are not able to change
Then I die trying to
That’s the thing you die anyways go out on your own damn sword!
@@reedre6177what part of "cannot change" do you not understand? You can't possible the impossible.
Do not insist on things you weren't meant to change the prize is in the understanding of such.
Musashi is very stoic
Thank you for this my friend. I listening to it when I’m on a treadmill session every time.
That was a great video. Thank you very much.
When you the know the way broadly and deeply you will see it in everything
Doubt it.
By the way are you referencing The Dao?? Or no?
tell me what s/w do you use to make the animation (cartoon like) imagery, on this video. Its amazing.
I'd love to 'take a leaf ' from your book..
I look forward to your reply.
Thanks again in advance for your reply🙂
Peace...
this is very well done ❤ thank you
Outstanding work!
Thank you❤ This was well worth listening to.
awesome reminders! 🙏
You are the best don’t you ever forget
Principle 6 feels neglected...
Principle 6: Do not regret what you have done.
This principle encourages taking responsibility for our actions, learning from them, and moving forward without regret.
Thank you
Thank you!!!!!❤❤❤
Accept everything just the way it is.
Do not seek pleasure for its own sake.
Do not, under any circumstances, depend on a partial feeling.
Think lightly of yourself and deeply of the world.
Be detached from desire your whole life long.
Do not regret what you have done.
Never be jealous.
Never let yourself be saddened by a separation.
Resentment and complaint are appropriate neither for oneself nor others.
Do not let yourself be guided by the feeling of lust or love.
In all things have no preferences.
Be indifferent to where you live.

You may abandon your own body but you must preserve your honor.
Never stray from the Way.

This is simply 'THE WAY' he was a daoist 💚☯️💚🔥
It is what it is
Just perfect 👌🏼
Exactly!
That boi likes the backpack analogies huh
I appreciate the teachings of this warrior. As it was stated, during turbulent times, it's all about survival & the strongest survive. If not, you'll become a victim. It would be nice to live in an utopian society, however, that's not my experience nor is it the experience of most men who are burdened with the responsibility of being the protectors of his family & his Community. I think it's awesome how this Samurai was able to reflect on his past, which he may have done things he wasn't "proud" of & offer wisdom through his teachings to guide warriors of the future to understand that with manhood comes responsibility. The responsibility to be strong, intelligent, resilient, confident & assertive without being arrogant, abusive, uncontrollable & unwilling to accept valid information. We've all made mistakes in life, as did he, but to learn/grow from them will allow one to create a path of redemption & progression.
Yes❤

Excellent Amir-rimA! The best interpretation of senseis Musachis thinking for the occidental comprehension of a true japanese outlook to life and trascendence... Time ro share...
By the way, go beyond "philosophy".
Great video
Maybe more samurai visuals would go better with it
❤
I wonder how old the Japanese man was apone his death?
I still have a copy of The Book of Five Rings. Had it for decades. It is sort of a Zen book. Musashi lived by a very strict code.
61.
Principles by Ray Dalio.... thank you
There are millions of musashi around the world then.

😈🔱👿..a man only has 1 friend in this world..his dog... Your mother will choose her bf over you.. Your wife will f your best friend.. Your best friend will covet what you have and your children will turn there back on you when you become a burden... The and only thing that will always have your back and die for you ?.. Your dog... Thats my 2 cents of wisdom kids 😉
You sound like a fool
And once your dog gets hungry it eats you… trust no one but yourself
Wisemen don’t hurt people.
Also, he’s not the first person in the world to say this stuff
Musashi wasnt a saintly honourable jesus character. He was a demon forged in the solitary forests and caves that he dwelt in. His works show how to become a demon and use isolayion to achieve mastery. Most of this is the self help crap that the guy talks about in the firat 2 minutes.
Does that make his teachings invvalid
@@thisislaflaretv5250 - Do you think his teachings are valid?
@@wealthypepe I not all the way versed in his teachings. I'm familiar. But just like any information you filter in the good and filter out the bad. That's with any type of teaching, spiritual tradition or philosophy
@@wealthypepe I made my point. Very clear. It was logical, rational and practical. So let's not be disingenuous . What about my statement you disagree with
@@wealthypepe No need to be arrogant or facitious. You wouldn't be in front of me with that attitude so knock it off . My answer was valid it just went over your head like a chandelier. Again I've read many teachings and you filter in the good and filter out what doesn't work. You should have asked do you like his teachings. A person's teachings being valid is a matter of perception.
Mushashi was articulate . This Guy has 5 min of intro of just building up in non chalant tone . It waste time.
u dont chase success.
