Excellence is an art crafted by training and practice. We do not act rightly because we have excellence, but we have excellence because we have acted rightly. Any changes one desires, must be realised and done through action, for we will get something in life, it all depends on the purity of our intentions and how well we put our efforts to move forward.

Your comment perfectly encapsulates the video's message. Excellence comes from consistent practice and right actions, as both stoicism and Musashi's teachings emphasize. True change requires intentional effort and pure intentions, aligning with the idea that we control our path through disciplined actions.

Listening to these 21 principles whilst meditating was exactly what I needed to ground myself today. I will repeat as necessary in the future 😊 Thank you.

Stoicism claims I can control my anger
But I’ve tried for 20 yrs
    So someone answer this :
I cannot control my anger sometimes
So what does stoicism have to say to this?

Exactly, because you're not stoic, you're weak. Start practicing gratitude.

@@gaararulesall this precisely where you are wrong
I have ptsd from childhood which didn’t exist in stoic philosophy
      I’m not weak, I’m traumatized
If this is your best stoic answer, you failed
