This is the right pace for sparring. Both fighters get a chance to think about what they just got hit with and what they could do better. This is the pace of sparring where fighters actually sharpen their skills.

amazing sparring ring. Evenly matched. But why are they hitting each other so hard?? like i get it for body conditioning but brain conditioning no me gusta. Id reccomend running a 20/80 rule with shots to head only being 20% power or pulling them and no pulling on body shots or leg kicks. For these beginner fighters exp and confidence on head movement is way more critical than learning via cte. But amazing sparring session. I wish the fighters took a little bit more time to experiment instead of just swarm - you can’t swarm for 3 rounds you will gas out.

They get caught in the heat of the moment sometimes, for sure. We try to keep guys throwing at around 50%-60% during these in-cage rounds, and flow-sparring outside of the cage. Sound advice and thank you!
