  • This is the fourth knife I've made and the second attempt on a video. It's not a tutorial, like the last one, it's more like a documentary.
The blade is made of 4034 steel.
The handle is made out of pardouk and wenge. The inspiration for this special cut came from thetopicala.
    The Bolster constists of aluminium.
    Special thanks to:
    Stahl Krebs Solingen
    and
    C. & E. Rauh Stanzen und Härten von Klingenrohlingen
I hope you enjoy the video!

Jan Bane Be patient. Keep your eye on the objective. Keep up the good work and it will happen. There is a book that J Paul Getty commissioned to be written several decades ago. On the first page is the of the whole book. Develop a passion and fallow it. When things aren't working the way you want, be flexible to tweek the plan and keep the passion. It's taken me quite some time but I now have all the tools for my welding and machine shop. Love the stuff I do. Mostly a hobby but pick up a few dollars a year with it. Best of luck.
