I purchased the 8-core version of this cable with angled tips. The individual cores are smaller in size, but my main issue is that the braiding comes undone at the connector, which looks plain bad, especially if it moves around in your pocket. I believe this is a common issue, even with other brands. The tips are made of white soft plastic with a rubbery feel. I can leave a dent with my nail, but if it's not too deep, it tends to recover after a while. Personally, I don't mind the plastic tips; they are quite decent, gold plated, and all three have the step for connecting them to my DAP with a thick case. They appear sturdy enough, and they are overall smaller than other alternatives (the white part is 1.5cm long 0.9cm wide).
Wow, this video has almost everything that I needed. I am looking for a small 2.5mm balanced cable to pair with my Qudelix 5K. These stood out for the connectors. The only thing left is to check the footprint of the angled ones; almost every good cable has pretty big sleeves.
Yeah I am curious about the angle version as well, I still may try and find one on sale. I was turned off by the look of the angled ends - that white plastic seems like it might be funky, although the do look more compact than the other 90° modular cables I’ve seen out there.
@@IEMCableReviews Maybe ivipQ-101 L shaped is better, the modular plug is small like these and almost the same price, It would be a pleasant surprise if they were compatible
Are you by any chance planning to review the Artti A9/A5? Very interesting cable at its price point, it's using a thicker internal wire but has just 2 cores to appeal to the people who swear thicker wires mean cleaner sound / soundstage. Claims 7n OCC copper too, with swappable connectors. Just wondering how it handles and if it provides any advantage in content loudness, since the cable is supposedly very conductive and thicker than your average one. I know it probably doesn't magically upgrade your sound quality.

@beto_249 is this the one where the ends are shaped like a hammer?

I’ll see if I can get one to review, I was interested in it as well.
