It's MR. RHYTHM!
And MR.LEAD!
Matteo: Weedly-eedly-eedly-eedly-eedly-eedly.........
Cory: Dinga-dinga-dinga-dinga-dinga-dinga.........
You should be aware that not everyone is familiar with those types of complicated musical terms used.
Hey buddy, we get it, you go to Juilliard, you don’t need to flex like that
I'm xD@@jon9536
Bravo!
Cory's comping so good. Matteo's obviously insane.
Cory’s comping average on this
I would have liked to finish the video, but I couldn’t because my face was melted off - my gawd, that was insane. I was watching in awe - jaw dropped. Just incredible. They were both so good together - Cory Wong on that Baritone, just the tastiest of grooves. And Matteo, he is an alien. That last solo, I lost my face.
right he is alien, not sure how his brain works to get this much live melody!
Haha well said….
Two team players right here
No ego
No competition
Just enjoyment and commitment to the music 😊
Cory's solo was great IMO.
Mr Lead and Mr Rythm finally 🔥
Cory's comping is simply amazing
That was very special. A small percentage of jams that are uploaded from NAMM are that cohesive. Incredible
Cory Wong= feeling and maturity and wise tonao choices
So great artists, and the music is so pleasant to listen !!❤❤❤
Mr. Wong is really brilliant and Mancuso blows your mind...
Spectacular !!
What a duo!
Fantastic groove and soloing creativity
perfect combo - master of the pick and master of pickless
Pure joy👏
Thanks for uploading🎸
Glad you enjoyed it!
No competing, no ego. Just pure elevating and complementing each other in comping and soloing, and beautifully so!
Freaking brilliant, vibe, tones, interwoven, and gets your head bobbing! Deez guys whoa
What a treat!
His ima technique is mind blowing and giving me hope that one day I can throw away the pick and use my classical guitar skills to play on the electrical guitar :-)
The dude with half his head shaved wearing a white claw shirt sums up this video perfectly.
Wow 😃
Holy cow guys wow so great
So great to see a couple of guys just having fun!!!!
They complement each other. Really enjoyable improvisation!
Love them both! Cory kicks out those jams!
Bravissimi
WOW!!!
I always listened to classical players and wondered why their approach to single note runs wasn’t adopted into vernacular music. It’s unbelievably efficient.
Matteo is the master 😮
Cheers...
Woooooow
i saw this video around its release and had no idea who matteo was. i rediscovered who he was through another video this week (2 weeks later) and am stunned by this again.
5:23 this is so true, like me playing simple lines on record and live, if live situation there's a lot of mistakes 😂, Matteo can do it clean in live, imagine how hard this guy practicing.
Ahh man. That's fucking brilliant.
Great performance. Marco Fanton in the back.
I love me some funkomojazzum!!!
Bacci guitars and basses are used by Snarkies, Vulfs and now MaMan. They are considered magical instruments. Oh, and MaMan is a MoFo!
👌👌😎
I came trice watching this
Bro what
Amen
5:20 - I'm really happy. I think you're too.
Matteo the grand
we need a collaboration !!!!
Schiattale a capa!!! ❤😊
Wow! specialmente Marco Fanton sullo sfondo... ;)
sembrava l'unico che si stesse divertendo poco
The guy in the flanell shirt is stunned af.
And stoned 😂
Just write as fuck....don't abbreviate curse words. It's just as bad as writing them out.
@@jcout25he can do whatever tf he wants
I always wondered what happened to the kid from Jerry McGuire, he's quite the player!😆
thats what we talkin bout willis
How can you not stare at Matteo"s right gand like wtf ?
Nice to see the cultural phenomenon of feeling like you have to record events with real players on your phone is finally going away. People know a better view will be posted on YT if they want to watch it later.
Next time someone ask me why I stoped guitar, I'll just send him to this clip.
Anyone know what envelope filter Cory might be using here?
Where Julian lage when you need him. He would fit perfectly in there.
I don't need no food anymore. Just wanna listen.
I'm just like fk that I can't do twenty thousand hours
Paging Michael Palmisano @guitargate !!!!
Baritone guitars?
Bacci guitar ,from italy
They are tuned to B on the low string I believe which is why I ask the question. I read the caption thanks
@@Snow_falling214
@@Snow_falling214 baritone ain't a brand, mate. It's a lower tuned guitar. However...lets you and me create a brand called Baritone. That way, when people google search for baritone guitars, they see OUR guitars. Just send me some seed money and I'll get the ball rolling.
@@jcout25lol it may not be a brand, but baritone guitars exist. Cory is playing a one here. Why are you beating around the bush
1:36 What guitar effect is that?
Envelope filter
i wonder if Matteo Mancuso's musical brain has been enhanced by AI .
They had to hand the crowd tissues amirite?
That’ll do Pick, that’ll do….
😂😂😂😂
Mr no pick
Классные парни! Чё за гитары такие дурацкие - баритоны что-ли?- вообще не звучат. До Перфекшена далеко
Che spettacolo 👏👏👏🌟🌟
Very technical, but also very repetitive!
Nice try, next time, in another life. 😂
It's a blues you know, so twelve bars in loop in a funky style, difficult to make freejazz in this conditions.
The 2 best players in the world, and all we get is licks and shredding on a 12 bar blues. This is everything that is gone wrong with guitar music. Why don’t they do music? And how come no one notices Michael Jackson in the front row?
You don’t consider the 12 bar blues "music"…? 🤦🏻♂️😅 I’d say that attitude is more emblematic of "everything that is gone wrong with guitar music." Blues is the structure, the musical language and base that allows them to even "communicate" musically in the first place. Who, where? Maybe because they’re too busy listening to, and being blown away by fantastic musicianship…?
@@andyscott5277 Don’t give me that American Culture 101 BS, please.
Edit: I am going to give you a better understanding of this. This is like seeing 2 great philosophers/thinkers meet in front of an audience, and all they say is «Hello, nice to meet you, how do you do?», or 2 great chefs saying «I like Ice Cream», «I like Ice cream too». It is an incredible waste of potential.
«Trading» licks over a 12 bar blues is not a vehicle for sublime musical art on their level. These guys aren’t dive bar players in front of drunk boomers.
Maybe they're trying to play a blues? And then they fix it, very well. Maybe I have issues, but last time I checked, blues was a style. Like it or not.
I understand that you think two great guitar players should sit down and make some big innovative stuff, and of course, if that happens? it's crazy cool. But having fun and being cool with music and playing it together in real improv is not wrong. See, they smile, they don't fight, they respect each other, much more than home-chair guitarists, from the bedroom university.
But this kind of comment reminds me of when a guy said to me, when he heard a bluegrass concert, after the first song. "Why did they play so fast and just improvisational licks? Do they have a bad time? Music is much more than that? Maybe they warm up first? And I look at him and say. "Look, a bird". Because you don't have that discussion :)
it's called having spontaneous fun at NAMM.
How on earth do you hear this inprov jam and complain ... you are what is wrong appreciate how great this is
NAMM signifies just how bad the guitar industry has gone. All a big bunch of randomness just like Matteo's playing. Its all just boring.
Is he a bad musician?
