Max pomming Positive Outlook over Heart Strike is agonising at 1:25:45-ish. That pom provides an extra 2 effective health.
17:18 is just the perfect reaction to that chat. I was laughing my ass off.
I've been obsessing over The Binding of Isaac for the past few years and 1000 hours later, I've got one task left to complete it.
Then a friend of mine introduced me to Hades.
Now I have a new obsession since I got it on Switch and hope it gets ported to the Xbox.
i finally started playing this some days ago as well even tho im a huge supergiant games fan, so i got this in my recommendations and man i wish the chat wouldve been shown for the reactions when he booted it up LOL
I love how Max died while shitting on chat then immediately shut the fuck up when seeing the great hall
Yessssssss! I've been waiting for these to come on RUclips!
Glad you found this game that no one has discoverd before Max
In all seriousness and honesty I've been addicted to this game and I absolutely love it
You know this game is insane when the length of the video is bigger than FF7R's length
That means nothing. Remake was linear, and had a clear ending. This does not. Also, he played much more than what was shown in his playthrough.
"Still unique dialogue here" oh sweetie
I love hearing Max bring up Azure Dreams....THAT GAME, Final Fantasy 7, Star Ocean 2 and Xenogears were my childhood...Im 33 now and they still cant make a pokemon game as good as Azure Dreams. And you dont even have to have a familiar when you go into the tower, you can bring a shield and sword and fuck shit up lol. God Azure Dreams needs a sequel SOO BAD!!!! it had everything, monsters to train, swords, shields, you can build your town, make girlfriends, and make your mom happy by buying her a new house. I mean what else do u need in a game lol.
Those are some of my favorite too, Xenogears is a freaking masterpiece, seriously some of the best storytelling ever and the soundtrack is amazing. Ps1 era games were a magical time for me, a huge part of my childhood
"there's no guarantee I'm going to like this game"
Then plays almost 6 hours
Everyone, thank Matt McMuscles for making Max play this game.
Thanks Max for discovering this game all by yourself
i dont know why, but the fact that max remember azure dream makes me happy, that shit its my childhood
I started this 2 days ago and can't stop. Amazing game.
I'm glad you're enjoying my game :)
Watching Max get sucked into Hades charm is what I needed. Also what Matt needed I would assume.
Playing alongside while I have this on in the background and I encounter the exact same conversation with Euridice that Max does at 5:23:44. I thought my audio was glitching out and playing twice before I noticed what was happening.
Dante descends into hell and Zagreus ascends out of it
Hades is that one rare game that feels like Pringles. "Once you pop, you can't stop."
"Wow this HAIDS game is doing really well!"
I laughed when he took an extra dash over death defiance. 😂
Really? The extra dash is insanely good. Practically a necesity if you wanna advance. Though, of course Death Defiance is still useful.
@@dantevitale5714 I agree 100% as a person who has put over 100 hours into it. A new player though? Huge mistake 😂. You know it lol
@@LocalChoker I'm sorry but almost every decision he made was the wrong one
@@brodrickbaker lol agree 100%
@@brodrickbaker Taking pom over hermes YUP ITS TIME FOR BED
Bro discovered roguelike for the first time in his live
I like the little McMuscles seal of approval on the thumbnail
Also I would like Max to fight Sephiroth in KH. If he's still interested will someone get this man a save file
Could we have just gotten 5 hours of intro shenanigans? I would watch the fake out that never ends.
I know it's easier to spot things when you backseat but this man is truly blind
Loved the stream Max. Have to say I was not expecting someone else on this planet to know about Azure Dreams. Played that stuff on the PS1 way, way back in the day. Good to see you are also a man of culture.
Watching this series, I’ve realized that Max’s brain shuts down from time to time
This won some game of the year awards...surprised Max had never heard of Rougelikes before!
5 hours of Hades? Sign me Up
Man, Azure Tower. Thanks for the throwback to that gem of a game.
13:46 This is the most boomer dad crap I've heard from Max since he became a dad. Who reaches for an obscure game from 97 to contextualize roguelites? I'm all for it though. I can't wait to see more of this character development.
Every time he misses picking up a reward I'm just giggling to myself waiting for him to look at chat because I know how much they're SCREAMING about it
1:15 As a recent Persona fan, I couldn't help at laugh at this. I KNEW Max was gonna end it like that.😂
Oof-
But, understandable. Since Max isn't so relate deeper to JRPG Stuff and the only Persona game he play is Persona 4 Arena which is a Fighting Game
Except Final Fantasy VII which his Most Favourite JRPG of all time
Max: I'm gonna play Persona 5.
Me: Man even Ryuji call Bullshit on that.
@@SuperFusionAJ93I just recently started playing persona 5 for the first time and I’m actually shocked how much I’ve enjoyed it so far. Usually not a big fan of turn based style combat but the story has me really invested and I love the social aspect of the game. I just seen the other day that persona 3 and persona 4 golden are both coming to Xbox game pass in a couple days are those ones as good as 5 is?
I was there for the stream when you played this and man going back to see this start just kills me all over again. Classic Max subversion haha.
